A series of fun and interactive drama activities to welcome all new participants:
A junk music workshop discovering which household rubbish items can be recycled and used to make musical instruments.
• ASDAN Getting familiar with books • Name games/getting to know the group
• What is recycling? Why do we recycle? How does it save money? What can we recycle, reduce and reuse?
• Beat the Banker
• Design and build junk instruments
• Grandmother’s Footsteps
• Explore the different sounds that the junk instruments can make

Introduction to animation: what is animation? Examples of animation?
The session explores budgeting; what it is, how we budget and why.
How does it work?
• Shopping Challenge (Scenarios and Role Play) The group is split into shop keepers and customers. They will take turns to shop around to get the best possible price for their items. This will demonstrate the right skills they need to budget and save, in order to get their desired outcomes.

Saturday 6th April 10am - 2pm or 2pm - 6pm The final session recaps the previous five sessions and works towards building a showcase of learning for family and friends using drama, dance, shadow puppets and animation. • Bring the puppets to life Creating characters and then bringing them to life as part of a group story in the final showcase • Complete ASDAN books • Rehearsing stories and finalising movement pieces • Preparing for the final celebration • Graduation with final celebration showcase • Presentation of Certificates to all participants
