Challenging behaviour
How often do you hear this description about an individual? Interestingly, it isn't the individual who is so-called challenging, it is because we don't fully understand what they are trying to tell us. Would you like to better understand why people who may need support do what they do? Would you like to understand how you can support people in a way that makes sense to them?
Understanding challenging behaviour This training is being delivered by Judith Seaward who has over 20 years of experience in supporting individuals who are seen as ‘difficult’ but are often misunderstood. It will give you an insight to what the individual may be expressing, how best to support them and some practical tips to work in a much more person centred way.
