Evidence in Ac on in Stockport is a series of monthly 90 minute workshops for people who are interested in hearing about research projects that are being, or have been, carried out in Adult Social Care – either from external researchers or from staff who have undertaken their own research about what works in prac ce in their own teams. What?
In these changing and challenging mes Adult Social Care needs a hero. In the PIP it has arrived. By combining an automated standardised store of data and a simple to use interface, we can deliver simple messages from complex sets of data. The end user can interrogate the data themselves and get access to the informa on they need at the click of a bu on.
Our session will discuss the drivers behind the development, the concept, the flexibility, the organisa onal benefits and the ini al feedback from end users.
Who for?
Social Care: Any social care staff who have an interest in research and using it to inform policy and prac ce; any staff who are undertaking a course of study that includes a disserta on or piece of research. Partner agencies: Colleagues from other Council Directorates, NHS Stockport, Founda on Trust, independent providers, voluntary and community sector providers, Universi es.
