Summer activities for children and families
Socially Yours
Toddle Time is taking a break for the summer but come along to our Youth on the Edge events. Check out our pool parties, Holiday Club, cinema afternoon and a day trip to the sea-side! See website for details.
Socially Yours will continue to meet over the summer, so do come along for fun and friendship every Tuesday afternoon (1.30 – 3-30), cost is £3 per session. The group is open to anyone who feels a bit isolated and would like a nice chat over a cup of tea.
We are open every Sunday (and Saturday morning!) We are open for worship every Sunday over the summer (and don’t forget our Wednesday morning service). Our Saturday Café is also open (10 – 11.30am) for you to enjoy a cuppa and light refreshments; to chat to the Vicar about your plans for baptisms or weddings; and we are always happy to receive your donations to the Food Bank. St Matthew’s is a beautiful church and a Grade II listed building. You are welcome to walk around and enjoy its peace. If you have a family connection with St Matthew’s church, look out for information about our Heritage Days, coming up in September: take the opportunity to look back over historical Parish records of baptisms and marriages, as well as taking part in our celebratory service.
Our Heritage Open Days and fabulous Fun Day are coming soon! Take a look at the website for more details. Tower tours, Parish records, information stalls and much, much more!
