Mukesh Malhotra
Managing Director, Weikfield Products and Ex-President – Maharatta Chamber of Commerce Industries & Agriculture . Mr. Mukesh Malhotra joined the family business of Weikfield Products in August, 1973. He was appointed Managing Director of Weikfield Products Co. (I) Pvt. Ltd. in 1994. He focused his energies on International business and started the Exports Division of Weikfield products Co. (I) Pvt. Ltd. in 1975. The exports of the Weikfield Group have grown to several million Dollars and reaches customers in over 26 countries, across 5 continents. In 1995, Weikfield set up a joint venture manufacturing unit under his direction in Sharjah, U.A.E to serve the entire Middle East / Gulf market which is also now a multi-crore operation. The export business is now spread across 60 countries and 150 cities across the Globe. Mr. Mukesh is a member of the Trade Leaders Club in Europe, since 1981. With his desire to share his knowledge of the intricacies of International Trading, he was a member of the Founding team that set-up the “Certificate Course in International Trade” in the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce & Industries (MCCIA), and he has been a Visiting Faculty at Symbiosis Institute of Foreign Trade, Lamcon Institute of Management, Indira Institute of Management, etc. He is actively involved in the activities of MCCIA with a track record of over ten years, serving in various activities such as Chairman - Foreign Trade Sub-Committee, Treasurer, Honorary Secretary & President 2008 – 2010, a post he currently holds. He is also a member of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, The British Business Group and various other International Bodies. He has been a keen Rotarian and has served as President of the Rotary Club of Pune Riverside for the Rotary Centennial Year 2004-2005.
