HAVE YOU EVER ATTENDED A PENGUINS AWAY GAME? A couple years ago, several of my friends and I took a trip to New York City to see the 9/11 memorial. We decided to get tickets to see the Penguins vs. Islanders game that weekend. I’m glad to report that the Penguins absolutely dominated the Islanders that day. DO YOU HAVE ANY UNIQUE PRE OR POST-GAME RITUALS WHEN ATTENDING A PITTSBURGH PENGUINS GAME? I always wear the same jersey to the game, a black Malkin jersey from 2005-06. Over the years, it has become slightly worn and discolored, but it makes for awesome story telling. Plus I have to have nachos!

WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO BECOME A PITTSBURGH PENGUINS SEASON TICKET HOLDER? I was looking for a way to re-connect with my sister, Jess. We had grown apart because of my job as a paramedic/firefighter and her being in school, so I decided to do something about it. In 2004, I purchased a flex plan and we have been attending ever since. I look forward to this season more than any because my sister just welcomed her first child, my first niece, Navaeh, into the world. We are already planning to bring her to a game as soon as we can.

AS A SEASON TICKET HOLDER, WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST CHERISHED PENGUINS MEMORY? During March 2007, I was involved in a bad car accident. My season tickets were in the car at the time. They were lost somehow. My sister contacted the Penguins to get them replaced, which happened immediately. Also, unbeknownst to me at the time, my sister switched a set of tickets to the wheelchair accessible location at Civic Arena. She surprised me with the tickets, which my dad and I used. During the game, a Penguins rep stopped by and presented me with a gift bag of various items. It was a small gesture I know, but it continues to mean the world to me. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE IN-GAME ENTERTAINMENT FEATURE? Human Bowling DO YOU HAVE ANY UNIQUE STORIES OR FAVORITE EXPERIENCES SINCE BECOMING A PITTSBURGH PENGUINS SEASON TICKET HOLDER THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE? Attending Game Six of the Conference Final during the 2009 Stanley Cup year. I remember the atmosphere was electric. Goosebumps… the whole experience seemed surreal. I had never heard the Civic Arena so loud. And the Penguins forced a Game Seven… the building was so loud, everything was shaking. It was an awesome experience; one that I don’t know if it will ever be topped.

Tonight the Penguins and Winnipeg Jets meet for the second and final time this season. Pittsburgh beat the Jets, 4-3 in a shootout, in Winnipeg on Nov. 6 as Brandon Sutter had a goal and two assists and Sidney Crosby scored the shootout winner. Evander Kane had a goal and an assist for Winnipeg. . . The Penguins have won five straight games against the Jets since a 4-2 road loss on Jan. 25, 2013, and they are 8-2-0 against Winnipeg since the former Atlanta Thrashers franchise transferred there for the 2011-12 season. . . Pittsburgh has scored four or more goals in seven of its last nine games against the Jets. . . Winnipeg is 0-for-16 on the power play in its last five games against the Penguins. . . Pittsburgh has won 13 consecutive home games against the Thrashers/Jets franchise since the Thrashers claimed a 4-2 victory here on Dec. 27, 2006. A victory tonight by the Penguins would give them their longest home win streak against one franchise in their history; they also won 13 straight games against the New York Islanders from Feb. 7, 2008 through Nov. 21, 2011. . . Marc-Andre Fleury was named to the NHL All-Star Game as an injury replacement on Jan. 15 and was scheduled to make his second career appearance in the game. He played in the 2011 All-Star Game in Carolina. . . Malkin and Sidney Crosby were also named to this season’s All-Star Game, played last Sunday in Columbus. . . Olli Maatta had surgery on his shoulder Jan. 14 and will miss the rest of the season. . . Pittsburgh went into its Jan. 16 showdown on Long Island — a game between the top two teams in the Metropolitan Division — with a penalty killing unit that had killed 38 of its last 40 (95.0 percent), including 17 straight over the previous six games. That left Pittsburgh second to Chicago in penalty killing this season (88.3 percent). . . After the win over the Wild, either Malkin or Crosby had figured in on 16 of the last 18 Pittsburgh goals. . . Pittsburgh chased Minnesota starter Niklas Backstrom in the 7-2 victory here Jan. 13; the Wild had been the only NHL team never to have replaced a starting goaltender in games against the Penguins. . . The Penguins lost 181 man games to injury through the first half of the season but somehow stayed on pace for a 112 points. That would be the second-highest total in franchise history if it works out that way through 82 team games. The Penguins earned their first 56 points in style, emerging from their 41st game (a 2-1 overtime victory on Jan. 10 at Montreal) as the only team in the NHL that ranked among the leagueâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s top 10 in wins (25, eighth), points (56, sixth), goals per game (2.93, 10th), goals against per game (2.32, fourth), power play (21.6 percent, seventh), and penalty killing (88.2 percent, second). Somehow, the Penguins managed to achieve individually and collectively through 41 games most memorable for injuries, minorleague call-ups and the mumps. Among the first-half highlights: â&#x20AC;˘ Goaltender MARC-ANDRE FLEURY pitched a career-high and NHL-leading six shutouts, including back-to-back blankings for the first time in his career (Oct. 30 over Los Angeles, Nov. 1 over Buffalo). Fleury fashioned a career-high streak of 164:22 scoreless minutes (Oct. 28-Nov. 6). He also won at least 20 games (21-7-4) for the seventh straight season and for the eighth time in his career (both franchise records). In doing so Fleury became the 31st goaltender in NHL history to win 300 games (on Nov. 24 against Boston) and the third-youngest (29 years, 361 days) and third-fastest (547 games) goalie to achieve that milestone. continued on page 24

• Defenseman OLLI MAATTA had a career-high, three-point game on Oct. 9 against Anaheim (three assists) and a career-long, threegame scoring streak (one goal, two assists, Oct. 23-28). • Winger PASCAL DUPUIS became the sixth player in franchise history to generate at least four points in a regular-season opener with a goal and three assists on Oct. 9 against Anaheim (tying his career-high four in a game), and the first to do so since Mario Lemieux (four assists) and Ron Francis (two goals, two assists) in the 1995-96 regular-season opener. • Winger NICK SPALING appeared in his 300th career game (Oct. 16 vs. Dallas). • Winger CHRIS KUNITZ scored multiple goals in back-to-back games for the first time in his career (two against the Kings on Oct. 30 and two against the Sabres on Nov. 1). • Winger BLAKE COMEAU scored 10 goals in a season (11) for the first time since the 2010-11 campaign, when he had a career-high 24. • Winger STEVE DOWNIE produced more multiple-point games (four) than he had in 62 games last season (three). Downie was one of only two players in the league with at least 75 penalty minutes (141) and at least 20 points (20). • Winger CRAIG ADAMS stretched his consecutive-games streak to a franchise-record 319 before missing the Penguins’ game on Dec. 20 against Florida. Adams played in his 900th NHL game on Nov. 22 (at the New York Islanders). • Winger ZACH SILL appeared in a career-high 27 games. • Defenseman ROBERT BORTUZZO tied his career-high total of two goals in a season (2012-13). • Defenseman SIMON DESPRES set career-high figures of 11 assists and 12 points. Despres also led the Penguins with a career-high 125 hits. • Center MARCEL GOC played in his 600th NHL game (Jan. 10 at Montreal). continued on page 26

• Defenseman KRIS LETANG tied his career-high totals for goals in a game and for points in a game with two goals and two assists on Nov. 8 at Buffalo, and produced powerplay assists in three straight games for the first time in his career (Oct. 11-18). • Center EVGENI MALKIN passed Rick Kehoe for sole possession of fourth place on the Penguins’ all-time scoring list (637) on Oct. 16 against Dallas. • Center SIDNEY CROSBY became the sixth-fastest player in NHL history to reach 800 points (571 games) on Nov. 26 against Toronto. Crosby also became the sixth-fastest player in NHL history to register 500 career assists (554 games) on Oct. 18 against the New York Islanders. MARIO LEMIEUX CO-OWNER/CHAIRMAN

Mario Lemieux, one of the most respected figures in National Hockey League history, is in his 16th season as co-owner and chairman of the board of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Under the leadership of Lemieux and co-owner Ron Burkle, the Penguins have become one of the premier franchises in the NHL and in all of sports, leading the way in fan relations, youth marketing, community outreach and innovative technology while consistently putting a winning product on the ice — including eight straight playoff appearances, three conference finals appearances in the past seven years and a Stanley Cup championship in 2009. Known as Le Magnifique, Lemieux was one of the greatest players in NHL history from 1984-97 and 2000-06, winning six league scoring titles, three MVP awards and two Conn Smythe Trophies in addition to two Stanley Cups. A gifted 6-foot-4 centerman, he dominated play for parts of three decades despite a relentless series of medical setbacks, including multiple back surgeries and a battle with Hodgkin’s disease. He retired in 2006 as the No. 7 all-time scorer in NHL history with 1,723 points. He also ranked eighth all-time in goals (690) and 10th in assists (1,033). After retiring as a player in 1997, he put together an ownership group to buy the Penguins out of bankruptcy in September, 1999 and then returned to the ice on Dec. 27, 2000 — becoming the first player-owner of the modern era. In addition to his legendary hockey accomplishments, he continues to oversee the Mario Lemieux Foundation for cancer research and neo-natal research and hosts its annual golf tournament, which has raised more than $9 million for charity. RON BURKLE CO-OWNER

Ron Burkle, one of the preeminent investors in technology, retail, manufacturing and distribution industries, is in his 16th season as co-owner of the Penguins. He teamed with Mario Lemieux to buy the team out of bankruptcy in September, 1999, and together they have become one of the outstanding ownership tandems in professional sports. Among Burkle’s many significant contributions to the Penguins was his essential role in negotiations for a new arena. CONSOL Energy Center is considered one of the finest indoor facilities in North America and has attracted many national-level events to Pittsburgh. Under the leadership of Lemieux and Burkle, the Penguins have sold out every game for seven-plus seasons. Burkle founded the Yucaipa Companies in 1986 and has served as Chairman of the Board and controlling shareholder of numerous companies, including Alliance Entertainment, Golden State Foods, Dominick’s, Fred Meyer, Ralphs and Food4Less. Ron is Co-Chairman of the Burkle Center for International Relations at UCLA and is broadly involved in the community. He is a trustee of the Carter Center, the National Urban League, Frank Lloyd Wright Conservancy and AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA). Ron was the Founder and Chairman of the Ralph’s/ Food4Less Foundation and the Fred Meyer Inc. Foundation. DAVID MOREHOUSE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & PRESIDENT

David Morehouse is Chief Executive Officer and President of the Penguins, overseeing every aspect of the team’s operations. Since Morehouse was named President in April, 2007, the Penguins have reshaped their image and strategic vision with an emphasis on branding, fan relations, youth marketing, community interaction, corporate outreach and innovative technology. He was given the additional responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer in September, 2010. He reports directly to co-owners Mario Lemieux and Ron Burkle. An emphasis on branding and marketing, coupled with the team’s success on the ice, has enabled the Penguins to lead all U.S.-based NHL teams in local television ratings for five straight seasons. In 2012-13, the Penguins’ rating of 12.66 was the highest achieved by any U.S.-based NHL, NBA or MLB team on a regional sports network since 2002. Keeping with that trend, the Penguins rank among the NHL leaders in website traffic and Twitter followers while continually setting new standards for merchandise sales. Youth hockey participation also is on the rise — in part because of the organization’s support for efforts such as Sidney Crosby’s Little Penguins Learn to Play program, which distributes free head-to-toe hockey equipment, including skates, to 1,000 kids ages 5-7 each year. The Pittsburgh native joined the Penguins in 2004 as Senior Consultant on the new arena project following a career in national politics that included stints at the White House, Pentagon and on Capitol Hill as well as key roles in two Presidential campaigns. EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER

Jim Rutherford is in his first season as the Penguins GM after being hired on June 6, 2014. Rutherford spent the previous 20 years as GM of the Carolina Hurricanes/Hartford Whalers franchise from 1994-2014 where he was a key architect of the Hurricanes’ 2006 Stanley Cup championship squad and their 2002 Stanley Cup finalist team. In addition to his general manager duties, he also served 20 years as president of Carolina/Hartford, taking the post in 1994. In his role as president/GM, Rutherford oversaw operations on both the hockey and business sides of the organization. He helped spearhead the efforts to bring the 2004 NHL Draft and 2011 NHL All-Star Game to Raleigh. Over the course of his executive career, Rutherford has won multiple awards, including The Hockey News ‘Executive of the Year’ in 2002 and ’06. Additionally, he was voted by his NHL general management peers as Sporting News ‘Executive of the Year’ in 2006. Before his 20 years in the NHL, Rutherford was recognized as the 1987 Canadian Hockey League (CHL) ‘Executive of the Year’, and the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) ‘Executive of the Year’ in back-to-back years with the Windsor Spitfires in 1987 and ’88. He oversaw a Spitfires team that won the OHL championship in 1988 and earned a berth in the Memorial Cup. In addition to his time with Hartford/Carolina, Rutherford also spent over 30 years working with Compuware Sports Corporation, overseeing the purchase of Windsor in 1984 and bringing the first American-based OHL franchise to Detroit in 1989. Rutherford played 13 years as a goaltender in the NHL, appearing in 457 career NHL games with Pittsburgh, Toronto, Los Angeles and Detroit. Selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the first round (10th overall) in the 1969 NHL Draft, he represented Canada at the 1977 and ’79 World Championships. JASON BOTTERILL ASSOCIATE GENERAL MANAGER

Jason Botterill is in his first season as associate general manager after being promoted from assistant general manager on June 6, 2014. As associate GM, Botterill assists GM Jim Rutherford on all hockey-related matters, including scouting, player development and contract negotiations. He also serves as GM of the Penguins’ top minorleague affiliate, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL). The WBS Penguins have made the playoffs all five years he has overseen the team, including back-to-back berths in the Eastern Conference Final (2013 and ‘14). Prior to his promotion, Botterill, 38, spent the previous five years as the Penguins assistant GM from 2009-14, and the two years prior to that as the team’s director of hockey administration beginning in 2007-08 where he was a key architect of the Penguins’ 2009 Stanley Cup championship team. Before joining the Penguins, Botterill worked for NHL Central Registry and as a scout for the Dallas Stars. Botterill was drafted by the Dallas Stars in the first round (20th overall) in 1994 NHL Draft and played in 88 NHL games for Dallas, Atlanta, Calgary and Buffalo before his career was cut short due to injury. He also suited up for 393 career minorleague games in the American and International Hockey Leagues, tallying 257 career points. A native of Edmonton who grew up in Winnipeg, Botterill played four years of college hockey at the University of Michigan and helped lead the Wolverines to an NCAA title in 1996. Botterill represented Canada in three straight World Junior Championships from 1994-96, winning gold medals all three years. During the ’94 and ’95 WJCs, Botterill was coached by current Penguins head coach Mike Johnston. Following his playing career, he received his MBA from his alma mater, the University of Michigan.

TOM FITZGERALD ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

Tom Fitzgerald is in his first season as assistant general manager after spending the previous five seasons as the Penguins assistant to the GM from 2009-14. Fitzgerald’s duties include monitoring Penguins’ prospects playing in college, junior hockey, Europe and with the club’s American Hockey League affiliate Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Additionally, he advises GM Jim Rutherford on all personnel decisions. Fitzgerald was named interim assistant coach of the Penguins on Feb. 15, 2009 and helped the club win its third Stanley Cup championship four months later. He began his executive career as the Penguins player development coach in 2007-08. Drafted in the first round (17th overall) by the New York Islanders in the 1986 NHL Draft, Fitzgerald played 17 seasons in the NHL, appearing in 1,097 career games where he recorded 329 career points (139G-190A). He has represented his country nationally three times — once with Team USA at the 1987 World Junior Championship and twice in the World Championships (1989, ’91).

BILL GUERIN ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

Bill Guerin is in his first season as assistant general manager after serving as Pittsburgh’s player development coach from 2011-14. Guerin’s responsibilities as assistant general manager include serving as a liaison between the players and management. As the Penguins player development coach, Guerin was instrumental in helping develop the Penguins’ minor league, junior and college prospects. Originally drafted by New Jersey in the first round (5th overall) of the 1989 NHL Draft, Guerin won two Stanley Cups (Pittsburgh, 2009; New Jersey, 1995) and spent 18 seasons in the NHL — including his final two with the Penguins. Guerin’s leadership and on-ice performance after being acquired at the NHL trade deadline was a key in Pittsburgh’s ’09 title. Guerin, a four-time NHL All-Star, tallied 429 career goals and 856 points in 1,263 career NHL games, including five 30-goal and two 40-goal seasons. He was elected to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2013.

Jason Karmanos is in his first season as the vice president of hockey operations after being named to his current position on June 12, 2014. Karmanos assists GM Jim Rutherford in all aspects of hockey operations. Before joining Pittsburgh, Karmanos spent 15 years as an executive for the Carolina Hurricanes from 1998-2013, serving various roles with Carolina, including executive director of hockey operations and vice president/assistant general manager under current Penguins GM Jim Rutherford. Karmanos played four years of college hockey at Harvard University from 1992-96, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors. At Harvard, Karmanos was teammates with current Penguins forward Craig Adams. After graduating, Karmanos attended training camp with the Penguins in 1996 and played pro hockey for two seasons before his career was cut short due to an eye injury. MIKE JOHNSTON HEAD COACH

Mike Johnston is in his first season as head coach of the Penguins after being named to his position on June 25, 2014. Johnson had spent the past six years as the general manager/head coach of the Portland Winterhawks of the Western Hockey League (WHL) from 2008-13, where he helped turn Portland into a Canadian Hockey League powerhouse and perennial contender. Under Johnston’s guidance, Portland made four straight WHL Championship berths (2010-14), winning the WHL championship and earning a Memorial Cup berth in 2012-13. During that time his team won four straight conference championships. Johnston’s teams are known for their offensive prowess — during his six seasons with Portland, his team’s goals for total rose each year from 176 in 2008-09 to a league-leading 338 in ‘13-14. Johnston also served two NHL stints as assistant/associate coach of the Vancouver Canucks (1999-06) and associate coach of the Los Angeles Kings (2006-08). With Johnston’s help, Vancouver made four straight trips to the postseason and won the Northwest Division crown in 2003-04. He has represented his country multiple times internationally, including serving as assistant coach of Canada’s 1998 Olympic Team. As an assistant/associate coach for Team Canada, he has won five medals (2 gold; 2 silver; 1 bronze) at the World Championships and two gold medals at the World Junior Championships. Among the players he has coached with Canada are Jonathan Toews, Ryan Getzlaf, Chris Kunitz, Martin Brodeur, Jarome Iginla, Rob Blake and Martin St. Louis. Johnston has authored three books with former NHL player Ryan Walter: “Simply the Best: Insights and Strategies from Great Hockey Coaches”, “Simply the Best: Players on Performance” and “Hockey Plays and Strategies”. He played college hockey at Brandon University in Manitoba and Acadia University in Nova Scotia and has a Master’s Degree in coaching science from Acadia University. RICK TOCCHET ASSISTANT COACH

Rick Tocchet is in his first season as an assistant coach of the Penguins. Tocchet was hired as an assistant coach by Tampa Bay in July, 2008 and was elevated to interim head coach on Nov. 14 of that year. He was named head coach following the ‘08-09 season, where he remained in that position until 2010. Tocchet began his coaching career as an assistant with the Colorado Avalanche for two years (2002-04) before spending one season (‘05-06) with the Phoenix Coyotes. A veteran of 18 NHL seasons, including parts of three seasons with the Penguins from 1992-94, Tocchet won a Stanley Cup championship with Pittsburgh in 1992. The 4-time NHL All-Star (1989, ‘90, ‘91, ‘93) played 1,144 career NHL games and totaled 440 goals, 952 points and 2,972 penalty minutes in his NHL career. Tocchet was originally drafted by Philadelphia in the sixth round (125th overall) of the 1983 NHL Draft.

GARY AGNEW ASSISTANT COACH

Gary Agnew is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Penguins. Prior to joining Pittsburgh, Agnew was an assistant coach for the St. Louis Blues for two seasons from 2012-14, helping the Blues win the fifth-most games in the NHL during that span (81). Agnew spent four years as an assistant coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets from 2006-10, where he helped the Blue Jackets earn a postseason berth for the first time in franchise history in 2008-09. As head coach of the American Hockey League’s Syracuse Crunch from 2000-06, Agnew won a franchise-record 220 games, and he led Syracuse to its first-ever division title in 2001-02. He also has 14 years of coaching experience in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), including 11 as a head coach. He has won over 350 career OHL games with London (1989-94, ‘97-00), Kingston (1994-97) and Oshawa (2011-12). Agnew was named OHL Coach of the Year twice — in 1993 and ’98. MIKE BALES GOALTENDING COACH

Mike Bales is in his second season as the Penguins goaltending coach after serving the previous two seasons as the team’s goaltending development coach from 2011-13. Under his guidance, Marc-Andre Fleury won 39 games in 2013-14 and tied his career high by recording five shutouts. Bales was also key to Jeff Zatkoff’s development in his first NHL season where he posted a 12-6-2 record, 2.61 GAA and .912 save percentage. Bales, a native of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, spent 18 seasons playing professionally from 1992-2010, including stints in the NHL with Boston and Ottawa. Bales also saw action with teams in the AHL, IHL, Germany, Sweden and Northern Ireland. He was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the fifth round (105th overall) of the 1990 NHL Draft. Before turning pro, Bales played three collegiate seasons with Ohio State University of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) from 1989-92. TRAVIS WILLIAMS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Travis Williams is in his fourth season as Chief Operating Officer of the Penguins, overseeing finance, legal affairs, technology, business development and arena operations while reporting directly to CEO/President David Morehouse. Williams joined the Penguins in 2008 as Senior Vice President of Business Affairs/General Counsel and oversaw the construction and development of CONSOL Energy Center — bringing the project to completion on time and under budget. He is the organization’s liaison with building manager AEG Facilities and works closely with AEG on all arena-related events and initiatives. In recent years, CONSOL Energy Center has hosted such national events as the 2012 NCAA Men’s Basketball Second and Third Rounds, the 2012 NHL Draft, the 2013 NCAA Frozen Four and the 2014 U.S. Gymnastics Championships. Williams also is the Penguins’ point man on the development of the former Civic Arena site and the construction of the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry. Williams graduated from Penn State University and received a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University, summa cum laude. He lives in Nevillewood with his wife, Nichole, and six children.

DAVID PEART SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, SALES

David Peart is in his fifth full season as Senior Vice President of Sales and Service, overseeing all local revenue generating departments for the team including business partnerships, corporate sales, premium seating, ticket sales, broadcasting, and concession and merchandise sales strategy. Under his direction, the Penguins created the team’s Founding Partner Program at CONSOL Energy Center and launched one of the most comprehensive fan engagement initiatives in sports. In 2014, Peart was awarded the InStadium Experience Innovation Award presented by Sports and Entertainment Alliance in Technology for his work with the Penguins’ PensPoints loyalty program. Peart has held senior-level positions with the San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans, Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers. PENGUINS RADIO NETWORK PLAY-BY-PLAY ANNOUNCER

One of the most unique broadcasters in professional sports, Mike Lange is calling games in his 40th season with the Penguins, handling radio play-by-play on the club’s flagship station, 105.9 FM The X and the Penguins Radio Network. Known for his creative and colorful style, including trademark phrases such as “Buy Sam A Drink And Get His Dog One, Too,” Lange was awarded the Foster Hewitt award by the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2001. Lange’s relationship with the Penguins began in 1974-75, when he broke into the NHL as a radio play-by-play man. He left for one season, but returned in 1976-77 and has been a fixture on the Penguins’ scene ever since. Lange did radio exclusively until 1979, when games were simulcast on radio and TV. He served as the television voice of the Penguins through 2005-06, before returning to the radio booth in 2006-07. A native of Sacramento, California, Lange earned a degree in broadcasting from Sacramento State University before starting his career as the voice of the Phoenix Roadrunners (WHL) in 1970. He also served as the play-by-play voice of the San Diego Gulls (WHL) in 1973-74 before joining the Penguins. In addition to his tenure with the Penguins, Lange handled play-by-play duties for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1986-87. A well-known member of the Pittsburgh community, Lange makes numerous personal appearances throughout the year and is actively involved in charity work.

PENGUINS RADIO NETWORK COLOR ANALYST

Two-time Stanley Cup Champion Phil Bourque is in his 12th season on the Penguins broadcast team, serving as color commentator alongside Mike Lange. A gritty winger/defenseman, Bourque was signed by Pittsburgh as a free agent in 1982, and went on to record 164 points (75G-89A) in 344 regular-season games with the Penguins between 1983 and 1992. For his career he totaled 199 points (88G-111A) in 477 games with the Penguins, New York Rangers and Ottawa. Since retiring from professional hockey in 2000, Bourque has cohosted Penguins pre- and post-game shows on the Penguins Radio Network and worked as a contributor for ROOT SPORTS’ coverage of Penguins hockey.

After a 17-year career as the Penguins beat writer for the Washington Observer-Reporter, Bob Grove joined the team’s radio broadcasts in 1998 as a frequent studio host/co-host and is now in his seventh season as full-time host of the pre- and post-game broadcasts and intermissions on the Penguins Hockey Network. Grove wrote Pittsburgh Penguins: The Official History of the First 30 Years in 1997 and has contributed game notes to GOAL Magazine inserts or IceTime programs for every Pittsburgh home game since 1986. He was also a contributor to the second edition of Total Hockey and to The Game I’ll Never Forget. He is a senior writer covering hockey for the Pittsburgh Sports Report and also hosts Bob Grove’s Hot Stove on Penguins Radio 24/7.

Steve Kolbe enters his second season with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Kolbe spent 14 seasons (1997-2011) as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Washington Capitals, broadcasting over 1,100 games. His voice has been heard internationally on the NHL Network, XM Radio, NHL Radio, and ESPN. Kolbe broadcast the Stanley Cup Finals in 1998 and the NHL Winter Classic in 2011, and he was featured on the NHL Network’s documentary Voices in 2008. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Kolbe has over 25 years of broadcasting experience, and most recently has been a co-host of the Mid-Atlantic Sports Report on MASN (Mid Atlantic Sports Network) as well as talk show host for Major League Baseball coverage and NHL insider on CBS Radio 105.7 in Baltimore. Kolbe is a 1989 graduate of Michigan State University and earned a B.A. in telecommunications.

CONSOL Energy Center — now in its fifth year of hosting entertainment for every sort of audience — will present more top tours and banner sporting events in the future. The New Year will bring the Maroon 5 World Tour 2015 and the Second and Third Rounds of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship to CONSOL Energy Center. The Pittsburgh arena’s reputation for hosting major sporting events will continue. The Atlantic 10 Conference Men’s Basketball Championship will be contested in CONSOL Energy Center in 2017, the A-10 announced in September. Bernadette V. McGlade, A-10 Commissioner, says, “The opportunity to rotate our championship within the A-10 footprint is exciting. She adds that CONSOL Energy Center is a state-of-the-art venue with great fan amenities and a successful history of hosting NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship events. LITTLE PENGUINS LEARN TO PLAY

EQUIPMENT PICK-UP 2015 The start of the New Year brought with it the equipment distribution to 1,000 kids who signed up for this year’s Little Penguins Learn to Play Hockey program. Thanks to Sidney Crosby, DICK’S Sporting Goods and Reebok, all kids who signed up received free head-to-toe hockey equipment. All participants had the ability to pick up their equipment at 13 area DICK’S Sporting Goods stores. This year brought a new surprise to the event however, as 50 equipment boxes at random had a golden ticket placed in them. Those fortunate enough to receive one of these boxes get to skate at CONSOL Energy Center for a special on-ice clinic February 18th. This season is the seventh season of the Little Penguins Learn to Play Hockey program and to date have provided 6,200 sets to children looking to play hockey in the area. At the ages of 10 and under, Pittsburgh continues to lead the country with a 120% growth rate each year in hockey participation. For more information please visit pittsburghpenguins.com

ALUMNI TO HOST

The Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni Association will host its fourth annual Skate with the Greats presented by 84 Lumber skating session on Wednesday, February 18 at the CONSOL Energy Center in an effort to raise funds for charity. Former Penguins forwards Pierre Larouche and Troy Loney and former defensemen Randy Hillier and Peter Taglianetti will join a host of local alumni members to skate with fans and sign autographs. The Skate with the Greats event will run from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Guests are welcome to bring their own skates or rent skates at CONSOL Energy Center that evening. Proceeds from Skate with the Greats presented by 84 Lumber will benefit Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni Association charities. Tickets cost $30. To make reservations, visit the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation website at pittsburghpenguinsfoundation.org. Reservations are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be mailed by February 6 via U.S. Postal Service First Class mail. All guests must have a ticket to enter the building and waivers must be completed before guests may skate. In 2014, the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and UPMC Sports Medicine expanded the Heads UP Pittsburgh concussion awareness program to include a free flexibility kit to the first 2,000 participants in the new testing period that began on June 16. KIDS WILL CHANGE THE FUTURE Free cognitive baseline testing was available on a first-come, first-served basis for athletes ages 10-14. For athletes under 10 years of age, a Pediatric version of the test was available at a minimal cost. Community College of Allegheny County once again served as host to testing at its Boyce, North, South and West Hills Center campuses along with UPMC Center for Sports Medicine on the South Side. Community College of Beaver County joined the initiative as a new site for testing and education. The entire testing process takes about one hour. Certified athletic trainers from UPMC Sports Medicine supervise the program and testing. While the athletes are being tested, parents meet with the UPMC Sports Medicine Concussion staff to learn about the Heads UP Pittsburgh program and how to handle concussions if they occur. Heads UP Pittsburgh, the first program of its kind and a blueprint copied by other NHL organizations, began in 2011 with baseline testing and parental education programs for youth hockey players. In 2012, the Penguins Foundation expanded the program to include athletes of all sports ages 10 to 14. Since the programâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s inception, over 13,000 athletes have been tested and over 33,000 people educated. EVERYONE For years Western Pennsylvania youth sports have been dominated by the likes of football, basketball and baseball. Recently however, the region has begun to see a change in preference and participation in sports. Hockey is rapidly becoming the most popular and fastest growing sport in the area. Success seen with the Pittsburgh Penguins on the NHL ice has surely created a demand and a certain excitement around the game, however the popularity of hockey goes well beyond the wins and world class talent the Penguins possess. A genuine love for the game is starting to sweep the area. Kids are beginning to play hockey at younger and younger ages thanks to the Little Penguins: Learn to Play Hockey program. This program will allow 1,000 kids, ages 4-8, to receive free head-to-toe gear all thanks to the support of Sidney Crosby, Reebok and DICKâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;S Sporting Goods. Since it began in 2008-09 over 5,200 have been introduced to hockey through this program. The Penguins have also teamed up with the DICKâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;S Sporting Goods, Trib Total Media and the YMCA to create the YMCA Jr. Penguins program which introduces children to the sport through ball hockey. Each year, over 3,100 children participate in organized ball hockey at local YMCAs. Recently the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and Highmark have partnered together for Project PowerPlay, which will build 12 dek hockey rinks throughout Allegheny County over a threeyear period and allow local residents to play dek hockey for free. Dek hockey is becoming a great way to learn and play hockey without having ice, and was also vital in the development of current Penguins forward Beau Bennett who grew up in sunny California. continued on page 129

In 2014, the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation embarked on a new venture, Tablets in Education. This innovative, new program combined the latest in tablet technology with educational apps and content. With the assistance of the Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU3), 60 schools in Allegheny County were selected to participate in the first year of the program; distributing 1,200 Kindle Fire HDX 7 tablets to local schools. Each school enrolled in Tablets in Education received 20 Kindle Fire HDX 7 tablets, a mobile charging station and 20 shock resistant covers. Each device was then loaded with over 50 educational apps, books and specialized content. These apps were carefully selected with the assistance of Common Sense Media and the professionals at the AIU3, providing more than $100,000 worth of content. The devices are designed to be utilized for unique educational programs, extended learning programs and programs for children with disabilities. The technology utilized in Tablets in Education is designed to enhance a childâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s academic achievement while continuing to support their social development and relationships with adults and peers through the most critical years of an adolescentâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s growth and development. A portion of the funding for this new program was made possible by contributions through the EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) program. ICEBURGH A delight for children of all ages, Iceburgh — the official mascot of the Pittsburgh Penguins not only provides fans with exciting game entertainment but this large, energetic bird can also be seen at a multitude of community events and elementary schools throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. Iceburgh arrived on the scene in 1992 and is a staple at all team events. During Penguins’ home games, fans most definitely notice the antics of Iceburgh leading sections of fans in cheers, greeting young children on the concourse or displaying his athleticism on-ice between periods. In 1995, Iceburgh made his Hollywood debut, starring alongside Jean Claude Van Damme in the motion picture Sudden Death. He has gained both national and international exposure through film, TV and a variety of personal appearances. Iceburgh wasted no time getting acquainted with his new home at CONSOL Energy Center in September of 2010. You can find Iceburgh sliding down stair banisters, dancing in the stands and tossing t-shirts to fans. Iceburgh has performed in Russia and Japan, was featured in the opening of ESPN’s SportsCenter and recently performed in front of a record crowd of over 68,000 at Heinz Field for the 2011 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic. He is also regularly featured on in-game videos and has appeared in advertisements and television promos on ROOT Sports. In addition to his annual trek to the NHL All-Star Game, Iceburgh makes annual appearances at the Mascot Olympics held in Orlando, FL. Now in its third season, Pittsburgh Penguins Elite is one of the country’s premier youth hockey organizations. A joint effort of the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins and corporate partner DICK’S Sporting Goods, Penguins Elite offers a comprehensive program for player development and includes 14 teams in various age group — nine boys’ teams and five girls’ teams. The program features an outstanding coaching staff, professional management, world-class training facilities and access to elite-level competition — along with proven academic and career guidance.

In 2014-15, Penguins Elite boys’ teams will range from Squirt Minor through Midget Major, including a U15 team. Girls teams will be offered at 19&U, 16&U, 14&U, 12&U and 10&U age groups. The funding provided by DICK’S Sporting Goods and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation has reduced player participation fees by nearly 35% annually. In addition, DICK’S Sporting Goods provides FREE game jerseys and socks, practice jerseys and socks, pant shells, warmups and equipment bags to players each season. Players and parents also receive discounts on equipment and team-branded apparel purchased through DICK’S Sporting Goods. The NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins provide unique opportunities for PPE players, including practicing at CONSOL Energy Center, participating in the Icebreaker and NHL Youth Cup Tournaments and having the opportunity to attend select games and special events. Many are programs affiliated with NHL teams, including the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets, Dallas Junior Stars, the Phoenix Junior Coyotes and the Los Angeles Junior Kings, among others. With significant visibility, top-level talent, and elite coaching, the Tier 1 Elite League provides young, talented players with the opportunity to advance their careers to Tier 1 Jr. Hockey, U.S. National Teams, NCAA hockey, the NHL and other professional leagues. POWER PLAY The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and Highmark KIDS WILL CHANGE THE FUTURE completed four more dek hockey rinks for local communities in 2014 as their first-of-its-kind Project Power Play program entered its third year. The new rinks are located in Graham Park in Cranberry Township, Settlerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Cabin in Robinson, Renzie Park in McKeesport and North Park in McCandless. Project Power Play is a $2.3 million initiative designed to build 12 dek hockey rinks in Pittsburgh and surrounding communities over a four-year period. Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is leading the way by providing $1.5 million in funding, with the Penguins Foundation contributing $800,000. The rinks are multi-purpose courts measuring 155 feet by 75 feet. They include a premier dasher board system, scoreboard, player benches covered by metal shelters, a penalty box, goals and start-up dek hockey equipment. Project Power Play was introduced in 2012, with the first two rinks being built in Banksville Park and Lewis Park in Hazelwood. Four more rinks were added in 2013 at Brookline Memorial Park, Hosanna House Sherwood Event Center in Wilkinsburg, Riverside Park in Oakmont and Richland Community Park. The City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County and surrounding communities are providing the land as well as maintenance services, lighting and additional support. Two more rinks will be built in 2015, bringing the total to 12.

For a professional hockey player (non-goalie), there are three key initial achievements: First NHL game, first NHL point and first NHL goal. Rookie defenseman Derrick Pouliot got all three out of the way in the same night. For forward Zach Sill, getting his first point took a bit longer. Sill played his first NHL game on Nov. 16, 2013. But Sill didn’t get his first NHL point until Jan. 13, 2015, in his 48th NHL game. But it was a big point, as Sill’s assist set up Marcel Goc for the Penguins’ first goal and spurred the hosts to a runaway 7-2 victory over Minnesota. The tally came at 6:16 of the first period. Can Sill’s first goal be far behind? The fourth-line stalwart is working his way back into a groove after missing a month with an upper-body injury. Sill got hurt on his first shift when the Penguins played Calgary at CONSOL Energy Center this past Dec. 12. He returned to action Jan. 7 vs. Boston, also at CONSOL Energy Center. “I feel good,” said the 26-year-old Nova Scotia native. “It’s not hindering me on the ice at all. I feel comfortable out there.” continued on page 162

Sill’s first point wasn’t a product of finesse. It was a gritty assist, which befits Sill. He went to the front of the net and redirected a puck to Goc, who swatted it in. That was just Goc’s second goal of the season. Rare pleasures all around. “I got a whack at it right after it hit the goalie,” Sill said. “I saw [Goc] out of the corner of my eye. I kind of beat it to him, and he put it in. “It’s just nice to get. Maybe the floodgates will open now.” Sill wasn’t discouraged by his prior lack of production, and the 6-foot, 202-pounder certainly didn’t let it detract from his tireless work ethic. “I just kind of felt like it was going to come, that it was a matter of time,” Sill said. “Do the little things right and go to the net. Maybe it would hit me and go in one of these days. I wasn’t stressing about it, but it was nice to get it.” Assistant coach Rick Tocchet sees value in Sill. “He hits. He plays hard. He’s not afraid to muck it up,” Tocchet said. “If he has to drop the gloves once in a while, he’ll drop the gloves.” Goc’s goal vs. the Wild definitely steered the game in the Penguins’ favor. The Pens started a bit sloppy. But Goc tallied with help from Sill, and 1-0 became 2-0 less than six minutes later when David Perron found the back of Minnesota’s net. “It was back and forth,” Sill said. “It wasn’t going the way we wanted. Too many turnovers in the neutral zone. We just wanted to get [the puck deep] and go to work.” That’s exactly what Sill, Goc and linemate Craig Adams did, and the results they reaped undoubtedly helped spur the Penguins. It was a strong game by the Penguins’ entire fourth line, a display of grit flecked with just enough threat. And for Sill, a point’s a point. “It’s pretty exciting,” Sill allowed. “It’s been a long time coming. I’ve been the butt of a few jokes here and there, but it didn’t bother me that much. It’s nice to get a little mark in the stats.” At game’s end, Sill was 48 points behind team leader Evgeni Malkin. “The race is on now,” said a smiling Sill. The Penguins were in Buffalo on Nov. 7 with a night off. They were scheduled to play the Sabres the next day, but that night they had a unique opportunity. The Sabres were hosting the Edmonton Oilers and the Penguins coaching staff attended the game to see some live NHL action. “It was one time during the year that we had a chance to watch two teams play live while we were in that city,” Penguins head coach Mike Johnston said. The Sabres had a 2-1 lead late in the third period. Then Oilers forward David Perron threw a backhander toward the net. The rebound popped out in the slot to Mark Arcobello, who batted it home to tie the game at 2-2. The Oilers would go on to win 3-2. Coincidently two months later, both players that connected on that goal are now on the Penguins’ roster.

ARCOBELLO’S JOURNEY

On Jan. 14 the Penguins announced that they claimed Arcobello on waivers from Nashville. “I was really impressed by him in that game,” Johnston recalled. “He’s a smart player, has a good stick, manages the puck really well. Those are some of the things I saw in his game.” Arcobello, who was traded from Edmonton to Nashville in late December, was placed on waivers Jan. 13. And of all the places he could have gone, he was delighted to end up in Pittsburgh. “I knew at [noon] I would find out either way if I was claimed or going to the minors,” Arcobello said. “Anytime you can join a roster with such great players on it and big names it’s definitely an honor. I’m excited to get to town and get going.” Arcobello, 26, posted eight goals and 13 points in 40 games this season with Edmonton and Nashville. Though he isn’t the biggest guy at 5-foot-8, and 172 pounds, that doesn’t mean he won’t get down and dirty on the boards. “I’m a smaller guy, but I can play physical at times,” Arcobello said. “I can add some offense too. I have a little bit of versatility to my game where I can play up and down the lineup. I try to be as smart as I can and be responsible both offensively and defensively.” Luckily Arcobello has a familiar face in the Penguins’ dressing room with Perron. Perron, 26, was acquired from the Oilers in exchange for Rob Klinkhammer and a 2015 first-round draft pick on Jan. 2.

Before coming to Pittsburgh, Perron played the past two seasons with the Edmonton Oilers, appearing in a total of 116 games while registering 33 goals and 43 assists for 76 points. He established career highs with 28 goals and 57 points during the 2013-14 campaign. His 28 goals led all Edmonton players. “Having Perron around is definitely going to help,” Arcobello said. “Coming to Nashville I didn’t know anyone. I learned a lot of new names and with David he’ll help me get acclimated a little bit quicker.” Arcobello is excited for the opportunity of a fresh start with a talented team and a chance to contend for a championship. He wants the journey to begin as soon as possible. “Anytime you come to a new team you want to make a good first impression and get in the lineup as quickly as possible,” he said. “I’m really looking forward to it and can’t wait for the opportunity.” A native of Milford, Connecticut, Arcobello split last season between Edmonton and the team’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate in Oklahoma City. In 41 NHL games, Arcobello had 18 points (4G-14A) while winning 51 percent of his faceoffs. In 82 career NHL games with Edmonton and Nashville before coming to Pittsburgh, Arcobello totaled 31 points (12G-19A). Arcobello, who broke into his career with the Edmonton organization as an undrafted free agent, is Oklahoma City’s all-time leading scorer with 161 points (60G-101A). He is also the club’s all-time leader in playoff points (35), goals (18) and assists (17). Arcobello was an AHL All-Star in 2013. Prior to turning pro, Arcobello skated four seasons with the Yale Bulldogs of the ECAC, where he posted 116 points (49G-67A) in 131 contests. During his junior campaign he was named a NCAA Second-Team All-American.

Before Sidney Crosby stepped onto the ice for practice on Jan. 14, he looked up — and immediately began shaking his head and laughing. Many of the Penguins players had the same reaction as they noticed what was dangling from the rafters of CONSOL Energy Center: rookie Bryan Rust’s street clothes. The 22-year-old forward’s coat, shirt, jeans and shoes were all hanging from a hook that had been lowered from the ceiling, with his nickname taped across the back of his jacket. “I looked up and knew it was mine because I’m pretty sure I’m the only one with those shoes on the team,” laughed Rust. “I was kind of just skating around laughing. It’s just one of those things where you’re a rookie, so things are going to happen. It’s all in good fun.” Defenseman Simon Despres feels for Rust, as he was a victim of the exact same prank during his own rookie season. “That prank’s been done to me before, and it’s a funny prank,” Despres said. “It’s probably the same person who did it to me. I’m not going to say names, but I have suspects in my mind.” However, Crosby isn’t so sure that the previous prankster struck again. “I don’t know who was responsible. It looks familiar though,” Crosby said. “‘Desi’ probably did that one. It looked awfully familiar.” Regardless of who was the culprit this time around, goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury admired the execution. “It’s pretty good,” he said. “We can see lots of different kinds of clothing. It could have been a little lower, maybe, but I think it was nicely done.” The mischievious Fleury claims he was in the dressing room all morning, so he couldn’t have been behind it. He’d better make sure his story checks out, as Rust may eventually end up sitting him down in an attempt to get to the bottom of this. “I’m going to start interviewing guys 1-on-1,” Rust joked. “I’m probably going to get out the black light and fingerprint it to see what all went down.”

PICKING UP STEAM: Jets C Mathieu Perrault tied a franchise record with a career-high, four-goal effort in an 8-2 win over Florida on Jan. 13. Ilya Kovalchuk (Nov. 11, 2005) and Pascal Rheaume (Jan. 19, 2002) were the previous players in franchise history to score four times in a game. Perrault went 19 games without a goal to start the season, but scored an NHLleading 15 over his next 24 games, beginning with his first goal on Nov. 18 against New Jersey.

GAME MISCONDUCT PENALTIES A new Game Misconduct category will be created. Clipping, charging, elbowing, interference, kneeing, head-butting and butt-ending move from the general category into the same category as boarding and checking from behind (Physical Fouls), whereby a player who incurs two such game misconducts in this category would now be automatically suspended for one game.

PENALTY SHOT The Spin-O-Rama move, as described in Section 24.2 of the 2013-14 NHL Rule Book, will no longer be permitted either in Penalty Shot situations or in the Shootout.

VIDEO GOAL JUDGE Video review will be expanded in the following areas: * Rule 38.4 (viii) has been modified to allow broader discretion to Hockey Operations to assist the referees in determining the legitimacy of all potential goals (e.g., to ensure they are good hockey goals). The revised Rule will allow Hockey Operations to correct a broader array of situations where video review clearly establishes that a goal or no goal call on the ice has been made in error. The new expanded rule will also allow Hockey Operations to provide guidance to referees on goal and potential goal plays where the continued on page 198

RULE 57 TRIPPING

The rule relating to Tripping will be revised to specifically provide that a two minute minor penalty will be assessed when a defending player dives and trips an attacking player with his body/arm/shoulder, regardless of whether the defending player is able to make initial contact with the puck. But, in situations where a penalty shot might otherwise be appropriate, if the defending player dives and touches the puck first (before the trip), no penalty shot will be awarded. (In such cases, the resulting penalty will be limited to a two-minute minor penalty for tripping.)

RULE 76 FACE-OFFS

To curb delay tactics on face-offs after icing infractions, in situations where the defending team is guilty of a face-off violation, following an icing, the defending player who is initially lined up for the face-off will be given a warning, but will be required to remain in the circle to take the face-off. A second face-off violation by the defending team in such situation will result in a two minute minor bench penalty.

RULE 64

DIVING / EMBELLISHMENT The supplementary discipline penalties associated with Rule 64.3 (Diving/Embellishment) will be revised to bring attention to and more seriously penalize players (and teams) who repeatedly dive and embellish in an attempt to draw penalties. * Teams will switch ends prior to the start of overtime in the regular season. * The entire ice surface will undergo a dry scrape prior to the start of overtime in the regular season. * The procedure requiring the head coach to submit a list of the first three shooters in the shoot-out has been eliminated.

PUCK OUT OF BOUNDS There have been further rule changes made relating to face-off location to avoid penalizing teams for plays intended to create bona fide scoring opportunities. Specifically, the following are categories of plays where face-offs will remain in the attacking zone despite the fact that the attacking team was technically responsible for the stoppage in play: Shots at the net by a player on the attacking team where: (i) the shot breaks the glass; (ii) the shot goes off the side of the net and deflects out of play; (iii) the shot goes off the dasher boards or glass and deflects out of play; (iv) the shot is tipped or deflected out of play by a teammate; and (v) the shot becomes wedged in or on the exterior of the goal net. In addition, the following rule change will be enacted for the 2014 preseason and may be continued for the 2014-15 regular season if approved by the League and the NHLPA.

LOST AND FOUND If an item is lost or found during an event please see the Guest Services office located outside section 104. Guests inquiring about lost items after an event should call 412.804.7903. Items lost at events are held in storage for thirty (30) days and then either disposed of or donated to an appropriate charity.

RE-ENTRY POLICY Exit and re-entry is not permitted at CONSOL Energy Center.

SECURITY In the interest of guests and staff safety, a search process is required for all events in order to prevent guests from bringing unauthorized and prohibited items into the arena.

WHEELCHAIRS A limited number of wheelchairs are available for transporting guests that are disabled to their seating location. Guests can be transported from the gates to their seats. If a wheelchair is needed for the duration of the event, guests must supply their own wheelchairs. Wheelchairs cannot be reserved in advance. Upon arrival, guests can arrange for a wheelchair at any entrance of CONSOL Energy Center. Please see a CONSOL Energy Center employee to assist with wheelchair transportation.
