Forward Aaron Williams started his career in the Walsall youth team before going on to play eight senior games for The Saddlers in League One between 2011-13. Aaron then left Walsall and played for a number of non-league clubs before joining Peterborough United in 2016, playing 10 games for the Posh in League One. After a loan spell at Nuneaton Town, Williams signed for Newport County in January 2017, making his debut against Wycombe Wanderers. He played 17 times for the Exiles during the 2016-17 campaign, a season dubbed the club’s “Great Escape” where Newport avoided relegation on the last day of the season after being 11 points adrift in March before winning seven of the last 12 games to survive and sending Hartlepool United down instead. He then joined Brackley Town on loan in the National League North in August 2017 before making the move permanent in January 2018 scoring 34 goals in 42 games for The Saints which attracted the attention of Town. Aaron joined Harrogate in the summer of 2018 for their first season in the National League making his debut in the opening game of season against Sutton United. He went on to make 39 appearances for Town, 29 of them from the subs bench, hitting the back of the net five times. In June 2019 he moved to AFC Telford United in the National League North.
