Footprint Composition A continued study in drawings potential inuence to the 3 dimensional space. A re-interpretation within the composition of a drawing to deďŹ ne sets and subsets layered and pixeled within the whole. Both an excavation of site and the building of new through the abstraction of drawing composition.

The Earls Court Development, west London, signals the end of the 120 year old Earls Court Exhibition Centre. The proposal is set in the current model of London developments, seeming to focuses on a rigid role of housing and retail. The loss of the event holds a greater impact on the community, losing one of is sole attractors and impactors on the temporal shifts in daily routine. There is a fear of asset housing and potential ghost communities, with high-street retail pressing against a street leaves little to no porosity opportunity for internal growth. Instead a proposals could look to collide inflated influence of the Premier Leagues on LondonÂ’s stadium growth to affect and be effected by large scale developments, increased in localities connected infrastructure improvements. An approach of the English garden and the trodden path.

THESIS THESIS CREDITS MArch/16

The extremities between the continuous battle England has between restricted sites of heritage and the political policy toward large scale development. The vision is to focus on the imediate use and periffery of Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea Football Club, to impose a new type of stadium. A variant porosity of connection with a new landscape. Its community interaction, both the temporal and long term, will provide a wider variety of space and inhabiting characters. The tiers will provide a point of departure, springboarding off the commercial wealth to form a catalyst for community and housing to grow. The project will look to use the stadium as a footing for its own inhabitation and impact on the site. -
