Shavasana Yoga Studio promotes wellness through combining cannabis with the practice of yoga as an essential component of a healthy lifestyle. We transcend our clients into a practice of mindful meditation for a deeper focus and release.

Moodboard The inspiration for Shavasana is serenity and tranquility with a clean aesthetic. The geometric letterforms paired with the handwritten script give it a contemporary vibe, while the clean whitespace and deep textures keep it feeling fresh, modern, and balanced. The colors are peaceful and the textures are bold. The relaxed gradient of blues complement the deep mahogany browns mixed with the pure white backgrounds and fresh green shrubberies for a rejuvenating appearance. The shades of blue exude sensations of stability and unity. They inspire a clear mind and rebirth – all representative of the ways in which we wish to satisfy our clients at Shavasana Yoga Studio.

Shavasana’s primary logo is symmetrical and clean. It has a light and balanced vibe, and the combination of a thin and handwritten typeface imitates the bodily flow of yoga. The blue circle imitates the meditative space that clients enter while practicing mindfulness. The two height dimensions gives it a balanced structure that is easily readable to the viewer. The primary logo should only be used against white backgrounds. This is the main logo that will be used across primary brand applications. The trademark helps audiences easily identity Shavasana’s storefront, products, web presence, ads, merchandise, promotional materials, and enhances the professionalism of the brand. It is essential to the success of the brand that the logo always be applied with care and respect in every application according to these guidelines.

secondary logos We created secondary logos as replacements of the primary logo (but should never be seen directly next to the primary logo). Strategically use these as supplements in a way that isn’t repetitive, yet adds to the brand identity when necessary. These can be used heavily throughout our social media platforms. The color usage for Shavasana is fairly simple. The logo will mainly be used against a white background for consistency purposes. However, feel free to use the white logo set only against colored backgrounds.

Our logos need space just as our clients need space during our yoga classes. The logo should always have room to breathe. We call the area around our logo the blue space. To ensure legibility, leave plenty of blue space and be sure not to clutter it with unwanted energy.

Typography Typography is a powerful brand tool when used consistently. This set of typefaces best represents the relaxed and tranquil aura of the brand and should be used across all print and web applications.
Montserrat’s geometric and juxtaposition between thin and thick letterforms offers a lot of balance to the brand. The added option of italics gives is a sense of movement to emphasis the active nature of the brand. Hide Tide offers a handwritten and personable appearance to the brand so it feels as though we are connecting directly with our clients in every form.

Colors
Color is an integral part of brand identity because it reinforces the cohesiveness of the brand, and is a recognizable marker to audiences everywhere. It also serves a psychological purpose by communicating a particular emotion to our clients. The ombre effect of blue replicates the oceanic atmosphere of the yoga studio on the beachfront. The shades of blue recharge energy, relaxes and soothes the mind, heals emotions, and offers balance.
