I.SO Benessere’s Salis Himalayan salt room is launched in the UK Visually stunning salt walls combine halotherapy and chromotherapy with stylish Italian modular design Launched by the I.SO Italia Group under its I.SO Benessere brand, the Salis salt room comprises a series of modular components that can be made in various sizes to suit available spa space. Designed for use in halotherapy, more commonly known as salt therapy, the pure Himalayan salt bricks work to neutralise electromagnetic frequencies and charge water molecules in the room with positive energy. This is said to aid nervous tension and insomnia, as well as improving concentration and protecting against harmful free radicals. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action of saline microparticles is said to boost the immune system, reducing muscle tension and stress, and where sprayed into the grotto they penetrate the skin to enrich it with mineral salts and trace elements. “The return on investment of Salis is very high,” promises CEO Valentino Astolfi. “Salis doesn’t require the presence of an operator and can ensure
high earning power due to the fact that it is low maintenance with extremely low running costs and energy consumption. “The salt and electricity usage during a session of 20 minutes is proportional to the size of the room, but represents a minimal investment. “The benefits of ancient Himalayan salt are known around the world and are applicable to all ages, so everyone is a potential customer; building a business plan with Salis is really very easy,” he concludes. Salis’s self-supporting salt walls rule out potential corrosive residues on metal structures and are easy to remove for inspection, maintenance or relocation. The back-lit brick columns use an 80W RGB LED lighting system to allow different colour effects and are remote-controlled to monitor chromotherapy programmes. + 39 (0) 421 311700 www.isobenessere.com

FLA2 Planika
Available for commercial use, the Planika FLA2 combines a warm, glowing fire with advanced technology that leaves no ash, smoke or smell, eliminating the need for chimneys.
