• Create EAB management cost scenarios from ash trees you’ve inventoried in the app, or simply enter an estimated ash population by size class. • Review default costs for 3 Management Activities: ash tree removal, replanting, and EAB treatment/injection. • Run the tool, name a scenario, review results, and print a scenario report. Create a 2nd scenario and compare two scenarios side-by-side. • Click “Get Started” and follow each step. 18

There are 4 methods. A scenario can include all inventoried ash trees, select ones, or an estimated number. 1. Choose All to use all ash trees you’ve inventoried in the app 2. Select Custom to use Tree Plotter’s Advanced Filter tool 3. Select All High Value Trees will only use trees you’ve flagged as high value from your inventory data in the map 4. If you haven’t used the app to map ash locations, simply enter an estimate of your ash population by size distribution. 20

Defaults: ďƒ˜ Emamectin benzoate (e.g. Tree-Age) treatment frequency = 2-3 years ďƒ˜ Imidacloprid (e.g. Merit) treatment frequency = 1 year Cost per DBH of treating ash trees with insecticide: Emamectin benzoate is approximately $15-16/inch diameter; estimate for Imidacloprid is approximately $13-17/inch
