WAKE FOREST, NC PROJECT TITLE: New Neighborhood Tree Inventories for Urban Forest Management Plan
CLIENT: Town of Wake Forest, North Carolina DESCRIPTION: Certified Arborists conducted a tree inventory of over 2,000 trees in new neighborhoods. The trees inventoried in these new neighborhoods were added for consideration to the town’s urban forest management plan. Trees included in the inventory were street trees and trees in the public right of way.

Tree health and maintenance data were collected for each of the over 2,000 trees plotted for the inventory. Of the trees inventoried, trees of the Quercus genus accounted for 41.5 % of the inventory, the most common maintenance need was pruning with 1,243 (61.0%) trees, 43.2% of trees were in good or excellent condition.
