Who is Plank floors?
Plank floors is a specialised manufacturer and national supplier of quality engineered flooring products to the residential and commercial market. Working with Australia’s leading architects and design firms, Plank has created a colour palette that is sophisticated yet in tune with leading European trends. Crafted and engineered by nature, Plank takes timber to a whole new level of quality in materials and the traditions of craftsmanship in our pursuit of perfection. With our central distribution base in Sydney and offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Plank has a dedicated team to service all major cities. Along with a network of key national distributors and resellers, Plank has a specialised commercial division to help in the selection and installation process. Plank is quickly becoming Australia’s largest wholesale distributor of quality engineered flooring to the commercial multi residential market.

–– Plank has extensive experience in the manufacture and supply of prefinished timber flooring in Australia. Plank is quickly becoming a supplier of choice to Tier 1 and 2 builders across Australia due to the quality product selection and customising options on colour, width and grading.
–– Plank offer an alliance pricing program to build and strengthen long term supply contracts with local and national clients. Working with forecasted estimated yearly quantities, the Plank team provide project pricing to cover all our board, underlay and accessories in any required colour.
–– Plank has a highly experience team of members with over 50 years of combined industry experience in timber flooring manufacturing, installation and sales. Leveraging off our experience we can offer our clients a seamless selection and installation process.
–– Plank has a complementing accessories range of colour matched timber beadings, solid stair nosing profiles and aluminium trims.
–– Plank has a network of highly trained commercial timber floor installers that we have partnered to provide a complete package, or we can simply provide our clients with the supply.
–– Architecturally focused design and specification team to help with the early stage product selection process. –– Architectural workshops to educate the industry on engineered flooring and installation methods. –– Distributor of rubber and foam acoustic underlays to complete the flooring system, along with testing data sheets.

Managing Director | Richard Karsay With a wealth of experience in the timber flooring industry and a carpentry background, Richard has become a pioneer of bespoke timber flooring in Australia over the last 20 years. His solid knowledge and experience in the manufacture and installation of timber flooring is key to the success of Plank and the quality of the product and brand.
General Manager | Fred Giordano Fred has over 16 years working in the timber flooring industry on residential and commercial projects, both hands on and in sales roles. His strength and passion is on the technical side of timber flooring and this adds value to all his projects. An experienced manager with a demonstrated history of developing and executing operational improvement plans and sales strategies. Skilled in brand strategy, sales leadership, people development and account management.
Business Development Manager NSW | Rio Warman A result driven, articulate and competent individual who has an in-depth understanding of business development principles. A top-performing sales and marketing professional with a winning edge approach, Rio is able to think creatively from both product and commercial perspective. With over 15 years’ experience in the decorative hard surface industry, Rio has established the majority of his expertise in the unique and niche timber flooring market. An effective leader with strong focus on Sales and Marketing with proven track record on managing leading and growing brands. Rio is passionate about the timber flooring industry and is highlighted in his level of service to his client base.
Business Development Manager NSW | Michael Tindle Michael has been involved in the building industry since 2006, with a background in vinyl and rubber flooring, he has five years experience in the ooring industry. Passionate about working with architects and designers to consult, educate and create, he has built his career with a strong focus on specifications and building sales pipelines. He is an entrepreneur who loves coming up with new ideas, new approaches and isn’t afraid to try something new.
Business Development Manager VIC | Dean Crozier Dean has a strong background in the building, construction, specification and design industries. Dean started his career in carpentry with Australia largest builder and then moved onto completing a degree in media and communication. With attention to detail and a skillset that is adaptive but yet flexible to change in new environments while displaying exemplary organisational and time management skills. Dean possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, strategic mindset and strong desire lead with hard work ethic.
