Planning Decision PLANNING AUTHORITY AGREES TO FUND MALTA’S FIRST TRANSPORT MUSEUM IN BIRKIRKARA The Planning Authority has signed an agreement with the Birkirkara Local Council to partially fund Malta’s first Transport Museum. Protecting Buildings and Monuments in Valletta SACRA INFERMERIA'S CHAPEL The Sacra Infermeria's chapel was constructed in 1712 by Grand Master Perellos in order to bury those who died at the Sacra Infermeria. He built a chapel, dedicated to the Most Holy Virgin, at his expense. The chapel was blessed in December 1712. This chapel was positioned at the angle of the "Saletta" with the "Sala Vecchia" and accessible directly from the former. Read More
