Planning Decision ‘INSPIRATIONAL’ VALLEY TO BE REHABILITATED Wied il-Ghasel - the valley that inspired hundreds of local artists - will finally be getting a well deserved clean up. The Planning Authority’s Planning Commission approved the renewal of a development permission which proposed the upgrading of one of Malta’s most iconic valleys. The approved works will see the area in Naxxar, which is celebrated nationwide in Sammy Bartolo’s most legendary song ‘L-Ahhar Bidwi f’Wied il-Ghasel’, getting a total upgrade. Read More

Development Planning Fund
UPGRADING OF PATHWAY ALONG XLENDI BAY
A pathway along the iconic bay of Xlendi has been rehabilitated and upgraded for the improved access and enjoyment of countless visitors that frequent the area. The works which were carried out by the Munxar local council were funded by the Planning Authority’s Development Planning Fund. The project which got finalised prior to the summer months, to eliminate any i nconvenience for visitors, included the resurfacing of the pathway and new furniture. Read More

A palatial house built on three floors with intermediate levels and a side courtyard. The large doorway has a circular light window on top and is set between the central corbels of the balcony.
