ROLE PURPOSE Be responsible for human resource functions including HR re-sourcing and personnel administration.
ACCOUNTABILITIES Be responsible for personnel administration
Maintain and monitor staff compensation and benefit records.
Manage the payroll administration in collaboration with Finance and Operations Department
Manage and co-ordinate employment contracts
Represent employee issues to HOHR
Provide counsel to all employees on issues relating employee relations guided by Plan policies
Act as Focal Point of both Global and Local HRIS
Support in HR resourcing
Support HOHR, departments in Country Office and Program Units in staff planning, recruitment and selection,
Involve in capacity building for staff and partners
Coordinate and assist in developing and implementing Plan’s capacity building strategy and programs
Assist to implement and evaluate staff development programs
Initiate training and learning activities for Plan staff and partners at different levels

Provide support in identifying and sharing best practices of HRM and development within Plan to/ from the organizations
Coordinate new employee orientation/induction programs
Provide guidance to staff on career development
Support in implementing and managing performance management
Provide support in developing, implementing and managing performance management programs
Support HR&OD Manager in developing and implementing HR strategy / policies
Provide input in HR strategy
Assist to develop and update HR policies and procedures
Improve communication between Staff and Management Team to encourage an open and transparent Plan community and promote Global Plan Values and Behaviors.
Networking
Build relationships with other NGO's / recruiting agencies / HR professionals
Liaise with the local authorities and agencies
Ensures that Plan International’s global policies for Child Protection (CPP) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI) are fully embedded in accordance with the principles and requirements of the policy including relevant Implementation Standards and Guidelines as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under these policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), their relevance to their area of work, and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Essential:
Bachelor/ Master Degree in Human Resources, Law or equivalent disciplines. Minimum 05 years relevant working experiences as HR generalist or related disciplines, Experience with INGOs would be an advantage.
