The Florida Strawberry Festival made a large donation to the United Food Bank of Plant City.
Berry-rific donation The Florida Strawberry Festival donated the proceeds from the 2018 Strawberry Ball to the United Food Bank of Plant City. The festival is a longtime supporter of the food bank, which provides assistance to the community in the form of food services and a variety of programs. The check was presented to the UFB Board of Directors and Mary Heysek, UFB executive director.
Railroad museum gets new look

If you’ve popped in the Robert W. Willaford Railroad Museum you may have noticed it’s undergoing some minor remodeling thanks to the City of Plant City. The freshening up started in the beginning of July and will address some of the minor repairs needed to keep the museum in tip-top condition.

Case Contracting Company has established itself as one of the most respected businesses in the industry. It is now celebrating 35 years of service to the commu-
nity and the state its owners hold so dear. The brainchild of Charles “Chuck” Christensen, Case helped shape not only Plant City, but Florida as a whole into an iconic destination for locals and tourists alike. Christensen was born and raised in Miami Springs where he grew up racing cars, fishing in the Everglades and learning from his father, who was an electrician.
