1 Klargjering / PREPARATION Hev botnringen og tørk nota slik at djupna passar til presenningen. Presenningen skal settast mot straumen. Legg ut og kople til utstyr for oksygenering i merda før setting av presenningen. Strekk dei sju taua til haling av presenningen under merda. Lift the sinker tube and raise the net so that the depth matches the tarpaulin. The

tarpaulin must be deployed against the current. The oxygenation equipment should be laid out in the cage before deploying the tarpaulin. Under the cage, stretch out the seven ropes for hauling in the tarpaulin.
2 Setting av presenning / DEPLOYMENT OF THE TARPAULIN Fest lodd kl. 12 på presenningen. Sett presenningen frå hovudfartyet ved kl. 6 og hal den samstundes opp kl. 12. Fest tau til begge sider på presenningen etter kvart som den vert sett.

Attach the weight at the tarpaulin’s 12 o’clock position. Deploy the tarpaulin from the vessel leading the operation at 6 o’clock whilst hauling it up at 12 o’clock. Attach the ropes to both sides of the tarpaulin as it is being set.
3 Løfte presenningen / RAISING THE TARPAULIN Etter at loddet er heva kl. 12, hev presenningen nesten til overflata kl. 3 og kl. 9. Hev deretter presenningen til overflata kl. ½ 2 og ½ 11 så kl. ½ 5 og kl. ½ 8. Når dette er gjort, hev presenningen til overflata rundt heile merda.

Once the weight has been lifted at 12 o’clock, haul the tarpaulin almost up to the surface at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. After that, haul the tarpaulin up to the surface at 1.30 and 10.30 o’clock, then at 4.30 and 7.30 o’clock. When this has been done, raise the tarpaulin up to the surface around the whole cage.

4 Etter behandling / AFTER TREATMENT Kast laus alle tau, unnateke dei på kl. 12 og kl. 6. Senk presenningen med lodd frå kl. 12 og hal den samstundes om bord i hovudfartyet som ligg kl. 6 på merda. Cast off all ropes except those at 12 o’clock and 6 o’clock. Sink the tarpaulin at 12 o’clock using the weight whilst hauling it on board the vessel leading the operation, which lies at 6 o’clock in relation to the cage.
