WELCOME Located in the heart of Birmingham, Villa Park is the perfect venue for any event. A warm welcome awaits you and your guests at the home of Aston Villa Football Club. Our versatility allows us to accommodate events such as pre-wedding celebrations and 1st birthday parties right through to larger functions for up to 604 guests. Your guests will be impressed by the state of the art design features in our modern and spacious suites. Our team of experienced event co-ordinators are on hand to give guidance and advice throughout the planning stages – ensuring that your event is truly unforgettable!

SE LF CATER IN G E VEN TS Villa Park has a number of versatile function suites that can be used for a whole host of events. In the Trinity stand we have the Trinity Suite and the 1874. Both of these suites offer space and light and overlook Aston Parklands, with 1874 having the added benefit of stunning pitch views. Our Holte Suite is superbly positioned with free car parking and easy ground floor access into the delightful, newly refurbished venue.

The Holte Suite The Holte Suite can accommodate a maximum of 604 guests. This elegant suite is situated at the traditional end of the stadium. The Holte Suite, having undergone a complete transformation during the summer of 2009, offers state-of-the-art facilities on ground floor level, with its own private car park. The Holte Suite also boasts many additional facilities such as a spacious private foyer and cloakroom, alongside a beautiful mezzanine level overlooking the main suite. Trinity Suite The Trinity Suite can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. It offers both space and light, and overlooks Aston Parklands. It also has the added advantage of being adjacent to our 82 Lounge – giving even greater flexibility. A P P R O VED CATER ER S Aston Villa work closely with a number of approved caterers – please see the insert at the back of this brochure. The nominated caterers on the approved list have been selected by Aston Villa Football Club, having undergone an inspection of their food production premises and food production systems. The nominated caterers fulfil and adhere to hygiene, health and safety requirements and standards set out by Aston Villa Football Club and our independent advisor. They have a great deal of experience in outside catering events and have successfully operated functions at Villa Park previously. However, we also recognise that clients may have a preference to use a caterer not currently on our Approved Caterer list. We are happy to discuss using alternative caterers for your event, but this would be subject to a number of criteria and action points which would need to be addressed, agreed and adhered to prior to your appointing a non-approved caterer. Please liaise with your event co-ordinator who will be happy to discuss this in more detail with you.

Q U EST IO NS & A NSWER S More information about the package and how we can help you plan your celebration What times do I have access to the Holte Suite? The hire of the Holte Suite, 1874 or Trinity Suite is for a maximum of 12 hours. Therefore, access time will be dependent upon your requirements for the event. For Saturday functions the bars may be open from midday - 11.30pm and for Sunday functions the bars may be open from midday – 10.30pm. Do I need to lay the tables? As part of the cost of the hire, AVFC will set the room layout and lay-up the tables for your event. However, confirmation is required from the caterer (10 days prior to the event) of what crockery, cutlery and glassware is required, together with clarification of the lay-up for each table. Can I bring my own drinks? Clients may provide their own alcoholic beverages at an additional corkage cost of £500 including VAT. Any beverages must be delivered to the venue at a mutually convenient date and time prior to the event, together with a full stock list. When providing your own drinks it will be responsibility of the client/approved caterer to provide glassware, staff and to set-up any bar areas or drinks on tables for each function. Clients may provide their own keg but must also provide their own remote cooler and gas, alternatively this equipment may be hired from AVFC at an additional cost. Connection to AVFC beer line system is not permitted. Is there car parking on site? There are 200 free car parking spaces directly outside the Holte Suite, with more than 800 further spaces within the stadium grounds. May I decorate the suite? The suite is available for you to use for the duration of your room hire period and you are welcome to decorate the suite in any way which does not cause any damage to the fittings or fixtures, please note all decoration must be discussed with your event co-ordinator.

Is catering included in the package price? Catering is not included within the package and must be provided by one of the Aston Villa approved caterers (see inset in the back of this brochure for further details) or by a non-approved caterer (subject to agreement from Aston Villa’s Executive Chef). The caterer will have access to adjacent suites kitchen areas to prepare your catering. The caterers will also need to provide all service bowls and equipment for the function. What if my preferred caterer is not on the approved caterer list? The approved caterers have been carefully selected and have reached all of Aston Villa’s food hygiene and health and safety standards. However, we are happy to discuss the option of you using a nonapproved caterer for your event but agreement would be subject to them meeting the following criteria and action points (which must be agreed and adhered to prior to your appointing your caterer): 1. Notifcation is required as to which non-approved caterer you wish to explore using. 2. AVFC’s Executive Chef reserves the right to carry out a full kitchen audit of the proposed event caterer’s premises (to be carried out on a mutually convenient and agreed date). 3. All non-approved caterers must provide the following original documentation at the time of the kitchen audit at the non-approved caterers premises • Their Local City Council Caterers Licence • Current Public Liability Insurance Certficate • Their last up to date Environmental Health Officer inspection notes • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate • Scores on the doors for ‘H’ for Hygiene information • Current Employers Liability Insurance Certificate (for the staff who will be working in the kitchen at the function at Villa Park) 4. Until all other information is received and AVFC’s Executive Chef is fully satisfied that the non-approved caterer can adhere to AVFC’s Catering Food Production Guidelines and Catering Staff Handbook and the Food Safety Act 1990, Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995 and Food Safety (Temperature Control) Regulations 1995 - AVFC reserve the right to refuse permission to grand access to the proposed non-approved caterer. What staff are included in the package price? Waiting staff are not included and are usually provided by your chosen approved caterer. A Duty Manager will be on-site to provide assistance with the venue facilities throughout your event. A Chef will be on duty to carry out temperature checks, take food samples and supervise any kitchen activity. AVFC will provide kitchen porters to assist with cleaning of any AVFC crockery, cutlery and glassware. All other equipment cleaning will be the responsibility of the nominated caterer.

H O W TO BOOK 1.

Please call our dedicated event coordinators on 0800 612 0960 (option 2) who will be pleased to help with your enquiry and explain every aspect of holding your wedding celebration here at Villa Park. 2.

You are able to provisionally hold a date – (subject to availability) for up to two weeks, and we will not require any deposit payment to do this. We will try to contact you after this time if we have not heard from you. However if you do not make contact, we will release the provisional booking after this period to provide other customers with availability.

3.

In order to confirm a date, please provide a written booking confirmation, by post or e-mail to your event coordinator. Please include the event date, and the name and address of the person who will receive the contract and event information.

4.

We ask for you to provide a 25% deposit upon entering into the agreement, along with a signed contract agreement. You will need to pay the remaining balance at least two weeks before your contracted event date.

5.

You will be provided with full Aston Villa Venue terms and conditions as part of the contract agreement.
