Stamp Duty You have to pay Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) if you buy property in the UK over a certain price. The SDLT rate depends on: i) the purchase price of the property ii) whether the property is residential.

When buying or selling your property, there are various fees & disbursements payable.

Fees involve a profit element due to the Solicitor acting.

Disbursements are products or services obtained on your behalf at cost price.

Land Registry These are fees paid to the Land Registry, to register the property and any associated charges, into your name. The fees are banded & dependent on the purchase price or transfer fee.
