Weekly music sessions exploring a range of skills and instruments are open to adults and children (from 8 yrs+) and all levels of experience.
Group and one-to-one sessions available, all led by experienced, professional musicians.
Platform Singers
Fridays | 2.30-4pm
Led by a professional singer, our community choir is friendly, welcoming and a great way to meet new people.
Visual art
Clack & Yak Knitting Group
Mondays | 11am-1pm
Join this relaxed group for a chat and cuppa whilst knitting, sewing or crocheting. Beginners welcome.
Art Factory
Tuesdays | 1-4pm
Weekly art group for adults, looking to get creative with a range of activities led by visiting artists.
Nu Gen
Tuesdays | 5-6.30pm
Art sessions for young people who enjoy drawing, painting, sculpture and design. A chance to experiment with materials and learn new techniques to make artworks.
Saturday Art Club
Saturdays 11am-12pm & 1-2pm
Art classes for children offering a chance to be playful with materials and create artworks to take home.
Platform offers a wide range of weekly workshops and classes, with something for all ages. These are artist led, welcoming and no experience is needed. Sessions are offered on a Pay-What-You-Like basis allowing you to choose what to pay (see our website for suggested donation).
We are running two blocks of activity with a summer break in-between. Places must be booked in advance – book online, in person or by phone.

Join Rumpelstiltskin as he finds his way in the world, with songs, jokes and lots of heart!
Platform, the arts centre at The Bridge in Glasgow’s east end, offers a year-round programme of music, performance and visual art, alongside a varied Taking Part programme of workshops and classes.
