he contrast between the sleek lightness of modern yachts and the solid immobility of marble isn’t the only striking feature of the brand’s products. A dialogue of

creations. Founded in 1956, the Verona-based company, which specialises in natural stone products, is now the world leader in offering select collections of stone pieces, using raw material from the world’s most important extraction sites. Antolini takes natural stone and then shapes and enhances it so it becomes unique means of expression with fascinating colours, the type of product now in demand for high-end interior design. Their great expressive power has also attracted the attention of the fashion and art worlds, encouraging the brand to try its hand in unusual areas, creating a series of sometimes surprising applications. A collaboration between Antolini and interior designer Alessandro La Spada has resulted in a first tableware capsule collection in Irish Green marble, part of the Exclusive Collection that has led the company to

become the go-to brand for prestigious natural stone. The unexpected material chosen by Antolini for the collection is usually destined for tops and furnishings, but here this primordial material in seductive light and dark shades of green with white veining is used to convey a sense of taste and conviviality. The translucent colour is highlighted even further by rose gold plated elements. The tableware capsule is intended to create a precious, exclusive dining experience, with table settings, place markers, serving trays, wine coolers and stands complemented by floor-standing wine coolers, bread stick holders, caviar set and butter dishes. The collection is designed to emphasise dining pleasure by appealing to the emotions and aesthetic sense. The result is a mise en place rendered exclusive by its materials, attention to detail and innovative design concept.
