WHAT’S NEW
A selection of new projects and concepts from the leading international shipyards and design studios that will grace the waves in the near future
by Mary Hegarty and Désirée SormaniWithin two months of the project’s unveiling, the Italian Sea Group had sold not one but two new Panorama motoryachts. This “semi-custom 50-metre Admiral” collaboration with Piredda & Partners continues the new focus begun with Picchiotti’s Gentleman line, as The italian Sea Group CEO Giovanni Costantino, confirmed: “This strategy allows us to expand sales while avoiding compromising the Group’s design capacity by not involving the important design teams committed to the large custom-made yachts that represent the company’s core business”. The resulting classy all-Italian beauty has a timelessly graceful profile with masterful forms, lines and functional solutions. At 499GT, the new Admiral
will also eat up those ocean miles with gusto. A lack visual barriers and sublime interior-exterior flows produce a sense of ongoing natural dialogue between all of the large, beautifully detailed spaces. Inside, sophisticated décor consummately pairs fine wood, stone and rough metals. The Panorama accommodates up to 12 guests, with four capacious suites on the main deck and a VIP on the lower, which can convert to a TV room and is flanked by a proper fully-equipped gym. The owner’s apartments on the upper deck offer open views on three sides as well as overlooking a private deck forward. The two Admiral Panorama models are pencilled in for delivery in 2025. theitalianseagroup.com
