Armchair, sofa, modular elements, chaise longue and pouf make up the Harbour series by Paola Lenti, designed by Francesco Rota. It features Maris fabric on the backs and arms, waterproof and totally recyclable like the fibre used for the cushion padding.
The modular Porro System bookshelf features visible shelving that can furnish and divide interiors of different styles. The design by Piero Lissoni + CRS Porro and the variety of finishes mean this an extremely versatile system that is perfect for creating bookcases and defining work and study areas.
Both a lamp and a table, Totò is an original floor lamp by Riflessi with a useful integrated tray. Designed to be used with armchairs and reading chairs, it is available in a wide range of colours and with ceramic tops with marble-effect finish.
A piece of furniture but also a work of art, the Diana console is produced by Paola Sorio in a limited edition of thirty. The base comprises a bronze support in a twisted ring shape, made using the lost wax technique. Its surface displays an intriguing play of reflections. The top is white onyx.
The new Wellness Therapy collection by Varaschin, designed by Alberto Apostoli, is based on simple geometries, pure lines and neutral colours. The Silvestri Marmi company’s Silvestri Art Design brand works with international artists, designers and architects to create projects using natural materials like marble, wood, metal, glass and leather. The interiors of the Marriott Hotel Tirana reflect this type of collaboration – the lobby has Grigio Apuano marble walls with relief work and split Pietra Nera walls, the reception desks are in Calacatta marble with brass inserts and a top in fluted, hot-lacquered matt finish metal. Suites, coffee tables and lifts are in Calacatta extra marble from the same block used for the three desks.

Striking aesthetics make the Arcano table by Cantori stand out in a crowded market place. A single central concrete base is surrounded by metal tubes, supporting an oval top in black or lacquered ash that seems almost to hang in the air. The centre of the top features a bronze or brushed pewter element. The table is also available with a round surface – the version in pewter with turned finish displays an optical spiral effect. Design by Maurizio Manzoni.

The great expertise shown by the Tuscan company I Vassalletti in creating prestigious wooden flooring are also on display in its exclusive bespoke furniture. One example is the pair of oak wardrobes with doors embellished by coloured resin inserts. The handles are recessed and the light colour creates a natural soap-like finish. The colour of the wardrobes is echoed by the lightly brushed oak floorboards in a variety of sizes.
