Heesen has announced that the hull of the latest addition to its stellar 55m Steel Class, YN 20655 (Project Venus), is 80 per cent complete at the steel-specialist Talsma yard in Holland with a final completion date set for Q2 2025. The new yacht is currently seeking an owner who will take delivery of a craft large enough to be wonderfully luxurious (an internal volume of 760 GT) yet compact enough to glide into the Mediterranean’s smaller ports. It will also have a stunningly bold, contrast-abounding Luca Dini interior that still manages to feel both welcoming and harmonious. Thanks to an ultra-high performance FDHF, twin 1,000 kw IMO III engines will yield 15.5 knots at full throttle with a 4,500 nm range at 13.
