Exterior Design Next Group’s Centro Stile

T

he aim behind the exterior design of Maiora Exuma 35 was to create neat external lines that could embrace the immense internal spaces and volumes, giving soft but sleek and sporty shapes. The external lines are harmonious and deliberately inspired by nature. The idea was to recall the concept of the islands and the fact that they are embraced by the surrounding sea. The exterior design is a combination of an SUV and a sports car: the lines are surrounding beautiful spaces and define so smoothly the perimeter of each space dedicated to the owner and guests on board. The aft area is a unique continuum between the aft main deck, with its own al-fresco dining, and the aft beach area. Owners and guests want to spend the majority of the time between inside and outside with no boundaries. The convertible flybridge is a little gem. You can enjoy it with air conditioning on days when the weather conditions are hot or unpleasant, or even when you are looking for more privacy. Or it can become a traditional flybridge thanks to the amazing aft infinity door, which disappears completely, and the two side windows that go up and down, as well as the large sunroof that slides away. This model was designed, together with her owners, with a precise purpose and a well-defined philosophy: the concept of organic shapes, warm materials and the combination of highly tactile and contrasting elements. It is a truly unique product and we were extremely happy to receive so many expressions of appreciation from customers, professionals and other shipyards.

Interior Design Owners’comment

R

ather than give a structured initial brief for the interior design of Pesa II, it was mainly about sharing my tastes and making available to Next Yacht Group’s Centro Stile the experience I have gained over the years. This is how the design concept for this yacht came to life. Thanks to several meetings involving myself, my staff and the shipyard’s architects, we were able to develop a fully-custom project that, just like a bespoke garment, epitomised – in perfect shapes, proportions, colour shades and volumes – all the insights and inspirations I have come across in my career. Villas, hotels, restaurants, and previous interior design projects I was directly in charge of provided the ideal substrate for the Pesa II project. Pesa II is characterised by an exquisite formal consistency that unravels throughout the interior and exterior areas thanks to the skilful use of a warm palette and the rounded, organically geometric shapes of custom furniture.

he Maiora Exuma line is Next Yacht Group’s response to the market’s demand for living at sea in glamour and exclusiveness. Pure elegance, impressive volumes, innovative high-tech solutions, unmatched interior brightness and storage capacity for tender and water toys; all combined with a sporty DNA and the thrill of speeding at 35 knots in maximum safety and comfort. The Exuma 35 is designed for owners who wish to combine their love for the sea and outdoor lifestyle with their own distinctive style, which is why she can be customised down to the tiniest detail. through the waves efficiently and a completely open stern, the yacht combines stunning sporty performances with the pleasure of living at sea in extremely versatile spaces. Impressive performances are ensured by the innovative hull design and a propulsion system with three water jets powered by three MTU 2000HP engines. Water-jet propulsion – which Next Yacht Group have been installing on their crafts for thirty years – offers a number of advantages. Not only higher speeds rarely found on yachts of this size, but also a wider range of cruising modes, always ensuring efficiency and reduced emissions and consumption. The system also

enables excellent manoeuvrability and very limited draft of four feet, offering the exclusive pleasure of exploring the Mediterranean and Caribbean without any constraints and peacefully immersed in nature. Comfort was certainly another focus during the design, which resulted in the use of the most advanced soundproofing technologies and the installation of an automated trim control system by Humphree and two gyro stabilizers to reduce rolling in all possible sea conditions. This unit will also ensure a silent night’s sleep thanks to lithium battery package.
