The 2016 sell-out production of Jesus Christ Superstar won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival and London Evening Standard Award for Best Musical, and was revived the fol lowing year for an extended engagement ahead of a run at the Lyric Opera of Chicago in Spring 2018. The production returned to London in 2019 for a season at the Barbican, running con currently with the Open Air Theatre’s record-breaking new production of Evita.
