ABOUT THE PRO LIFE CAMPAIGN DID YOU KNOW?
The Pro Life Campaign promotes pro-life education and defends human life at all stages from conception to natural death. It also campaigns for resources to support and assist pregnant women and those in need of healing after abortion.
Ireland without abortion is the safest country in the world for pregnant women. (1) Recent peer-reviewed studies highlight the serious negative medical consequences of abortion on women. (2)
Abortion is legal in Britain up to birth where the baby has a disability.
Babies in Britain surviving abortion are left to die. (3) Those campaigning for abortion turn a blind eye to all of this.
EARLY HUMAN LIFE THREATENED A recent European court (ECHR) decision is putting pressure on Ireland to introduce abortion. And the Supreme Court here has ruled that human embryos outside the mother do not have Constitutional protection.
ASSISTING THE CAMPAIGN
Unless we act now, there will be legislation permitting abortion in Ireland and destructive research on living human embryos.
We need your support to bring our message to the wider community. You can help by:
Our country has many troubles at present, but no issue is more important than protecting life. What’s at stake is society’s respect for the inherent value of human life. How we treat the vulnerable measures how civilised we are as a society.
