Poetry 'Life '
’ s rays, The wind whispered a sorrowful tune, The humans are coming.
Maple trees billow in desperation One by one, they danced their final ballet, They hit the floor like shattered glass, The humans are coming.
All living creatures went to hide, Their tails hung up and their noses bent down, Their eyes scanned their surrounding around, The humans are coming.
Two souls born together, Two souls bound together, Their petals and delicate leaves shivered, The humans are coming.
Their roots torn up, Their leaves bent down, Humans are coming, The humans have arrived.
Two souls that experience hate and anger. How could they do this to us? How could they cause misery to plants and animals? The humans are here.
Time moved slowly, A hand reached forward and grabbed, The souls felt like something was tearing them apart, Life doesn ’t always give you what you want.
A part of the flowers disappeared, In a crate and onto a truck, The truck drove away and disappeared behind the hills, Life can be hard to see.
LIFE
Oneli Gunasena Yr 7
One soul sees darkness and sinks to the floor, All his hope drowns in streams of sorrow, Its leaves cough out dew, Life can send you gloomy weather.
This is a story not real at all, But, think about it, Do you feel something that related to you, Life can ’t always give you what you want.
