I will always remember 2005 as the year that I became addicted to the Internet and my personal computer. This was due to the fact that I was able to purchase my first laptop, as a result, the laptop, a tool for my artistic practice, my academic pursuit as well as an apparatus of entertainment became all encompassing. Music, essays, presentations, editing of videos, communication with family, friend, colleagues, research, notes and photographs all existing in one single object. Furthermore not only did these important extensions of my everyday life both professional and personal exist in one single apparatus but it was mobile.
