The Ultimate Portable Dolly Solution The Digital Juice Orbit Micro is a fun, compact portable dolly system for video-capable cameras that allows you to capture smooth professional low-angle or tabletop tracking shots on any smooth surface -- without the hassle of larger, more expensive equipment. This sturdy affordable dolly option is easy to set up and use for both straight and curved dolly action shots. Its two axles, each with two inline skate-type wheels, can be adjusted with a quick turn of the ergonomic screw knob on each side of the base plate so that the wheels glide smoothly in a straight line, or in a tight or gradual arc up to 360 degrees. The compact 6 5/8" x 2 3/8" aluminium baseplate contains three 1/4"-20 threaded holes where you can mount your camera or ball head/camera combination as well as any compatible accessory needed such as articulating arms, portable lights, viewfinders and monitors.

Orbit anything for the perfect shot.... The Orbit Micro platform is extendible beyond providing a tracking camera mount. The camera itself can be mounted to the base directly using the removable 1/4"-20 post included, attached on the end of an articulating arm or placed on top of a compatible ball head to give you more flexibility and precision with your camera angle. The additional two 1/4"-20 mounts can be used for adjustable articulating arms holding a variety of accessories including clamps, LED lights, monitors and viewfinders.

The entire lightweight Orbit Micro unit is made with high quality materials and offers an amazingly sturdy and stable smooth rolling platform. The base plate and thumbscrew knobs are made of high quality aluminium with a matte black anodized finish. The 63mm/2.5" polyurethane inline-skate style wheels have fluid sealed ball bearings and an attractive stylish look. The total weight of the unit is a meagre 1 pound.

The two adjustable axles on the Orbit Micro can be set to allow you to track in straight or curved lines. The arc of the motion can be set (using the 2 locking ergonomic thumbscrew knobs) for broad open curves or for motion in a full 360 degree circle around the subject. The hash marks printed on the surface of the dolly are provided as a guide, allowing you to adjust the two axles at a roughly equivalent angle for more repeatable and dependable arced motion.

Get Your OrbitMicro Now The Orbit Micro is compatible with a wide variety of small camcorders, point and shoots, DSLRs, smart phones and micro 4/3 cameras. In some cases you may need to counterbalance the weight of your camera with another attached accessory, making the additional mounting holes doubly useful. The Orbit Micro gives the photographer and videographer the opportunity for unique cinematic shots that would not be possible otherwise. It can add professional style to an otherwise mundane product shot or add drama by allowing you to get closer or shoot from a lower angle than any other tracking device would allow. It can also provide a stable shake-free platform for a subtle straightforward tracking shot.
