Blue, Green Lite Rings Searching for the perfect key, then try Reflecmedia's Chromatte, a specially designed grey fabric that comprises millions of tiny glass beads that reflect a green or blue Lite Ring mounted to your camera lens. The resulting light from the ring is reflected back to the camera lens with the end result being a perfectly even blue or green background. This portable solution is easy to use, gives consistent keys for anyone doing bags of green screen work and can be used to great effect in news, studio or film production. One downside is it can't be used outdoors in natural light settings, but if you are doing studio based chroma shoots this could be a wise investment.

T Rextasy Blackmagic Design recently announced the launch of their Teranex 2D and 3D processors. These rack mount units allow conversion between virtually any format to any other television format in the highest quality, including de-interlacing and noise reduction, 3D transmission camera alignment, cadence detection and so much more, this unit is a must in any internet broadcast facility for the price. Prior to Blackmagic buying out Teranex these units were selling for $80,000 +, today they are available to joeschmoe for a mere $1,995 for the 2D unit or $3,995 for the 3D processor! This unit should be included in any studio or OB production vehicle, and if Grant Petty isn't Knighted for his revolutionary services to the broadcast industry we mere mortals should be singing his praise louder each Christmas!
