‌the Aclima network of roving and stationary sensors is expanding in North America, from Mexico to New York to California -- including mapping all nine counties and 5,000 square miles of the San Francisco Bay Area. And with our fleet partners, our sensor network extends across continents, including Europe, Asia, and Latin America. We have collected hundreds of billions of hyperlocal air quality data points in more than 150 cities and 14 countries.Â

The award is also a great testament to the growing power of women in the life sciences. When Rosalind Franklin made the images that helped James Watson and Francis Crick discover the structure of DNA, she became just a minor character in the early histories, and she died before she could share a Nobel Prize. Until now, only five women, beginning with Marie Curie in 1911, have won or shared the Nobel for chemistry, out of 184 honorees. When this year’s prize was announced, Dr. Charpentier said it would “provide a message specifically to young girls who would like to follow the path of science and to show them that in friendship women can also be awarded prizes.”

The COVID-19 pandemic is still raging across the U.S., which could be accelerating the adoption of autonomous or contactless checkout‌Automating checkout would remove the necessity of standing in line with other people, limit cashier exposure to the virus, and obviate the need to interact with a payment terminal that lots of other people have touched throughout the day. AiFi says that it is already powering 10 stores in locations around the world including California, Texas, Amsterdam, Paris and Shanghai. AiFi also has partnerships with Albert Heijn, Carrefour, and others it has yet to announce. If AiFi sticks to its schedule, it will be launching an average of 18 stores per month for the next year and a half.

Oatly Proves That Distribution Can be Eco Friendly, Thus Demonstrating to Blackstone That Green Options are Financially Viable

The Einride vehicles have been integrated into all of Oatly’s transport routes at its production sites and warehouses, these are the Swedish cities of Helsingborg, Landskrona, and Småland’s Tingsryd. Oatly tells us that it is one of the first companies in the world to operate a full fleet of Einride electric trucks daily, on-site.
