STAUFF Non-welding Piping System Technical Features STAUFF M&O piping systems use highly reliable mechanical systems which completely eliminates all contamination of typically welded piping, welded particles, welding spatler and other foreign materials. Such pitfalls will be no longer a concern with STAUFF M&O piping systems. STAUFF M&O cleaning / flushing process not only removes loose contaminants but shines the system fluid at the same time by the combination of a strong shop flushing facility and clean gun system, Non-welding field installation thereby reducing the need for costly internal chemical flushing. STAUFF M&O piping systems employ a cold drawn technique during the manufacturing process, resulting in internally and externally free of scale. STAUFF M&O standard surface conditioning procedure prevents rust, thus maintaining pipe cleanliness during storage and installation Material It is essential for high pressure hydraulic applications to use the finest and most robust parts. STAUFF M&O prides itself in how its piping mechanical joint components are produced, guaranteeing that only the highest grade of steel is used ensuring that the finished piping can withstand the heaviest of shocks and external forces which piping systems face. STAUFF M&O takes goes through great lengths to ensure that its mechanical joints are produced with only the best hydraulic hoses and couplings often surpassing SAE flange standards. In addition, our highly trained professionals manufacture hose assemblies that are more than reliable, giving peace of mind. Knowing that mechanical joints are produced in such a manner, our customers can rest assured that they will receive high quality components that they can depend on.

Quality control is important to STAUFF M&O. This can be seen by the close contact that our engineers and customers have with each other throughout the manufacturing and installation process. Such cooperation between both parties ensures that the final result of each project will be of the utmost highest quality. STAUFF M&O engineers use the most modern Auto CAD software available ensuring that our pipes can be manufactured at the design stage, improving the installation process even more.

STAUFF Non-welding Piping System STAUFF Retain Ring Grooving System This Retain Ring System of STAUFF M&O, can be used under very high pressures. In this configuration, it uses heavy wall pipes having a machined surface, along with an annular groove in the outer diameter. After preparation, the flange is fitted onto the pipe, and a retain ring is installed. The jointing is completed by bolting two flanges with inserted o-rings between them. STAUFF M&O is proud of its Retain Ring System that is utilized for pipes with pressure limits between 350 and 420 bar. In special circumstances, the retain ring system can even be used with pressures as high as 690 bar. STAUFF M&O retain rings undergo exhaustive testing to ensure that they will stand up to the rigors of various pressures and under a wide range of materials from mild and stainless steel to duplex and titanium materials that are elongated above 20%. STAUFF Non-welding Piping System STAUFF - 37° Flare Flange System This 37° Flare Flange System of STAUFF M&O can be used under medium to high pressures. The configuration of the joints is based upon a pipe that is flared to 37 degrees and has either an o-ring faced cone or a flat faced cone flared to the pipe. The joining is simply completed by bolting two flanges together that were slid onto the pipe before flaring. STAUFF M&O 37° Flare Flange System is suitable for piping systems with an upper pressure limit of 420 bar. This type of Flare Flange has an optimum pressure range between 210 to 350 bar. This Flare Flange is also adaptable to low pressure piping systems (≤50 bar) for pipe sizes from 20 to 273mm. The 37° Flare Flange has been extensively tested, especially against strict vibrations. Its joining method is appropriate for high pressure piping systems that consist of multiple materials ranging from mild steel to tungum.

STAUFF Non-welding Piping System STAUFF - 90° Flare Flange System This STAUFF’s 90° Flare Flange System can be applied to low pressures. The mechanical joint configuration is based on flaring the pipe ends to 90 degrees and inserting gasket. Various gasket material is available depending on the type of fluids and their temperatures inside the piping system. STAUFF M&O 90° flare flange system is being used for the class Ⅲ piping requiring the upper limit of the pressure at 16 bar. The 90° Flare Flange Jointing technique is suitable for piping systems made of various materials ranging from mild steel to super duplex for low pressures. The 90° Flare Flange Jointing technique has been tested extensively and results have shown that it is appropriate for low pressure piping in mild steel, stainless steel, copper-nickel and titanium. In addition, 90° flare flange systems can be used on pipe diameters of up to 608 mm for low pressure piping systems (10 ~ 40 bar). SAE

STAUFF Non-welding Piping System STAUFFORM System The STAUFFORM Tube Forming System is undoubtedly the best solution for series procedures with highest requirements with regards to safety, reliability and repeatability as well as process stability. The entire system consists of only three components: The formed tube end, the STAUFFORM Ring with its integrated sealing and the standard union nut. After the end of the tube, which can be made of Steel, Stainless Steel or any other commonly used material, has been automatically brought into the right shape using the cold tube-end forming process of the electronically controlled STAUFFORM Tube Forming Machine, the standardized STAUFFORM Ring, which has an integrated soft sealing in the primary section of the connection, is applied to the tube end. The optimized design of the formed tube end and the STAUFFORM Ring result in a uniform distribution of force and a large contact area for the union nut. The additional soft sealing, which is integrated in the STAUFFORM Ring, compensates settling due to mechanical loads, seals o the only possible leakage path of the connection and guarantees maximum leak tightness, even under high dynamic loads.
