Plymouth City Patriots is a professional basketball club based in Plymouth, Devon. Established in 2021, the team competes in Great Britain’s premier basketball league; the British Basketball League.

Our vision is to create a market leading sports and community culture that delivers for all its stakeholders, whilst delivering success both on and off the basketball court. Inspiring everyone to play, attracting talent and growing the wider impact of the sport throughout our communities.

Plymouth City Patriots are proud of the growing number of children taking part in basketball sessions within Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for the boys and girls’ teams playing in regional and national leagues. These development groups consist of children, at a high ability, that the club have identified could benefit from further development and ultimately want to play more competitively and aspire to play professionally one day. Our Academy, at Tor Bridge High, will have a fully comprehensive educational and basketball programme where children will benefit from a full curriculum of classes and daily basketball sessions, to prepare them for their next step on the Plymouth City Patriots Pathway. This programme will involve basketball coaching, mentoring, S&C, video analysis and all the ingredients for athletes to understand what it is like to train, develop, grow, and think like a professional basketball player. These sponsorship opportunities are an ideal way for your company to support the sole focus of ensuring children have an opportunity to get involved with the sport and give everyone a clear direction of how they can achieve their basketball aspirations.
