Join this weekly class to improve your written, reading and spoken English skills and work towards a qualification. Course time and start date: 10am – 12pm, every Thursday morning from Thursday 8 March

Computer club PCH have a Computer Club and a Gadget Club for residents at Plumer House. Come along and use our desktop computers, laptops and tablets or bring your own device and use the FREE Wi-Fi. A tutor is on hand to help you learn new skills at your own pace. No need to book - this is a drop in session at Plumer House.

PCH craft club Would you like to develop or try a creative hobby? Whether you want to share ideas or learn something new, just come along and make new friends. No need to book - this is a drop in session at Plumer House. Date: Every Tuesday and Thursday, 12pm - 3pm

PCH photography club Meets once a week to share photos and ideas, mixing both practical sessions along with occasional visits to place of interest. No need to book - this is a drop in session at Plumer House. Date: Every Monday, 1pm - 4pm

Training Courses Learn for Free is a training programme for Plymouth Community Homes residents

Learn the skills needed to run a successful Residents Group Improve how your Residents Group functions by learning Treasurer and Chairing skills Course time and date: 9.30am – 4pm, Friday 27 April at Plumer House Please see the minute taking skills course at start of leaflet. How to be part of a successful interview panel Learn the skills needed to be part of an interview panel. PCH residents take part in a number of interview panels to help us find the right members of staff. If this is something you would like to do then this course is for you. Course time and date: 9.30am – 4pm, Wednesday 16 May at Plumer House To book a place on a course, please write your details on the booking form provided and mark which courses you’d like to attend; then return the form in the pre-paid envelope. We’ll confirm your places by letter and then we’ll be in touch before a course to check your attendance and any requirements. You must book a place – do not just turn up as the course may be full. A light lunch will be provided on full day courses and we can help with travel and care costs.
