Grab the shopping bags and slather on the sunscreen, another season of the Ladner Village Market begins Sunday. The open-air market kicks off its 17th season with over 140 vendors and live entertainment. The market spans three blocks on 48th Avenue in Ladner Village, from Elliott Street to Delta Street, and will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
More on the market Page 19 Vendors will offer everything from produce and plants to art and jewelry. There will also many opportunities to grab a bite to eat as shoppers will be tempted with offerings such as samosas, scal-
lops and salmon burgers. Every market features live entertainment and Sunday will see the return of favourites Kenny (Blues Boss) Wayne and Wes Mackey. The season consists of market dates on the second and fourth Sunday of the month from June through August and the second Sunday of September.
