Ikedichi Iweha who spoke on phone said security operatives raided a hideout of the militaants in Hotoro area of the metropolis, following a tip-off. Iweha disclosed that the
militants were killed while the JTF was trying to arrest them and some of them were arrested. Peoples Daily gathered that two persons were killed by some gunmen in the area on Saturday,
who came on a motorcycle and shot them while residents ran for safety. “As I speak to you now, our men are carrying out a thorough search of the place “, he said.

he Save Nigeria Group (SNG) has alleged that the individuals and corporate bodies indicted in the report of the House of Representatives ad hoc committee that investigated the subsidy scam are big financiers of the presidential elections campaign of President Goodluck Jonathan. Some of the 69 companies indicted in the report included Folawiyo Energy Ltd, Total Plc, AP Plc, A-Z Petroleum Ltd, Acorn Nigeria Plc. Northwest Petroleum and Gas, and Oando.
