he Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, yesterday vowed to fish out the militiamen that on Tuesday massacred about 100 police and other security officers in Alakyo town of Nasarawa state. Abubakar, in a statement signed by the Force Spokesperson, Frank Mba, vowed to put an end to the killing of police and other security officers in the country even as he assured that the perpetrators of the recent massacre would be brought to book. According to him,"This disturbing, condemnable and highly distressing incident, coming closely after similar ones in Bayelsa and Borno states, have thrown up new and emerging threat in the delicate task of policing our country. "We consider the attack not just an attack on the Nigeria Police and its officers and men but an attack on the collective will of Nigerians to protect and preserve our dear fatherland," the police boss said.
