APC unfit to govern - PDP ACN, CPC, ANPP plan mass protest We’ll remain in PDP - Governors By Lawrence Olaoye, Abuja and Ayodele Samuel, Lagos

T

he ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday berated the

leadership of the opposition All Progressives’ Congress (APC) for its failure to register the party with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) insisting that such party is not fit

to govern the country. There are also fresh indications that the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) alongside other political

He tasked the Federal Government to prove its claimed determination to tackle the problem.

Questioning Jonathan’s tagging of Boko Haram as ghosts, el-Rufai said that, “over a thousand Boko Haram operatives are in the custody of the SSS in Abuja so, government cannot claim to not know who the terrorists are. “I know the Federal Government has a lot of information about the Islamist group.

“What is lacking is the will to address this issue and I think the government just wants this to continue because it is profitable for the security agencies to have huge budgets, most of which is stolen.” On a recent visit to the Boko Haram enclaves of Yobe and Borno state, Jonathan said that government would not grant Contd on Page 2
