resident Goodluck Jonathan has said that despite the challenges that threaten its unity, Nigeria will remain one united nation. He said only “a mad couple divorces after 100 years of marriage”, adding that “Nigeria is not a mad country.” The President made these remarks yesterday during an inter-denominational church service to mark the 2013 Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the National Christian Centre, Abuja. The service theme was "Peace and Unity." “Nigeria will not disintegrate. Anybody who is doing research in sociology, psychology or political science knows this; I know Nigeria will remain one,” the president said. “In 2014, we will celebrate our centenary, 100 years in existence. It will only take two mad people to stay in marriage for 100 years and say that is the time you will divorce and we are not mad. JTF arrests another top Boko Haram commander From Mustapha Isah Kwaru, Maiduguri

arely a day after security forces arrested a suspected Boko Haram in Abuja, the Joint Military Task Force, (JTF)
in Borno state, said yesterday that it operatives have conducted a special operation and arrested one Mohammed Zangina, who it described a high profile commander of the sect and member of its Shura committee,
the apex decision-making body of the group. Zangina is among the top commanders of the sect, which were declared wanted by the JTF on 23 November, last year with a bounty of N25 million placed on
him. The JTF Zangina in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Lt-Col. Sagir Musa, said Zangina, also known as Mallam Abdullahi but often referred to as Alhaji Musa, had
