peratives of the Joint Military Task Force (JTF) in Borno state, yesterday claimed they have killed one Momodu Bama, who was believed to be the deputy to Abubakar Shekau, proclaimed leader of the Jama’atu Ahlis Sunnah lid Da’awati wal Jihad, popular referred to as Boko Haram. Bama, according to the security operatives, was killed early this month in a gun-duel. This was further confirmed in a press statement issued yesterday in Abuja by the Director of Defence Information (DDI), Brig. Gen. Chris Olukolade.
