PDP reconciliation suffers setback

rominent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders in the north east and some of their loyalists yesterday shunned the reconciliation meeting chaired by National Chairman of the party, Bamanga Tukur. Those visibly absent at the meeting were former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Adawamawa state Governor, Admiral Murtala Nyako, former Bauchi state governor Ahmadu Adamu Muazu , former Gombe state Governor Danjuma Goje , former Taraba state Governor Jolly Nyame, Senator Jibrin Aminu and the National Assembly members among others. The meeting held amidst security as the police used tear gas to disperse thugs trying to cause mayhemat the venue of the meeting.
