2015: Govs can’t stop me — Jonathan By Lawrence Olaoye

P

resident Goodluck Jonathan yesterday declared that whoever is the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum

(NGF), lacks the capacity to stop his re election in 2015. The NGF, he said, is inconsequential in deciding the emergence of a president in 2015 election.

Jonathan also distanced himself from the speculations that he was the brain behind the crisis rocking Rivers state and the factionalization of the NGF with Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi at the

head of one and his Plateau state counterpart, Jonah Jang, leading the other. Speaking through his Special Assistant on Public Affairs, Doyin Okupe, President Jonathan said it

was wrong for anyone to believe that he will fret over the so called power in the hands of the NGF Chairman even as 2015 draws nearer, noting that he has defeated the NGF in the Contd. on Page 2
