igeria’s major opposition parties have given Dr. Goodluck Jonathan the thumbs down as he marks his first full year in office as an elected president. Jonathan, in a nationwide broadcast Tuesday morning, claimed that the transformation agenda of his administration was on course. He insisted that he has been able to boost investor confidence by generating N6.6 trillion worth of commitments from potential investors across the globe. “For the first time in over a decade, we now have a draft trade policy which provides a multidimensional framework to boost our trade regime and facilitate the inflow of investments,” he said. “We have generated over N6. 6 trillion worth of investment commitments.
