Bobboi announced that the groups as law abiding citizens decided to reduced their candid demands in writing to the umpire (INEC) soliciting for a more acceptable, reliable and factual outcome of the pending election.

He added that the margin difference between the PDP and APC parties which stands at 42,000 votes in both the governorship and state Assembly elections is a signal that Governor

Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri will be return to continue the good governance for the development of the state.

“Our party (PDP) is leading in all ramifications as we won two senatorial seats out three seats, seven seats of House of Representatives out of eight members, with fifteen state assembly members out of twenty five seats.

“The figures above indicates that PDP is in charge in the state. We assures Governor Fintiri that on Saturday we will remain at

INEC office until he is declares the winner”, Bobboi stated.

While receiving a copy of the letter on behalf of the Governor,Director General of the Fintiri’s governorship campaign office, Hon. Auwal Tukur thanked the groups for the show of solidarity to their candidate.

Tukur described the rally of the groups as democracy in action with a view to confirming to the world that PDP is control of the political soul of Adamawa state.

Tukur said the support is a right step taken to the right direction explaining that the pending 78 units for the rerun election will be a walk over to Governor Fintiri and the PDP as a party.

“We will take the letter to INEC for the necessary action and it will tackle impunity and cheating in the pending democratic process”, Tukur maintained.

Furthermore, our correspondent gathered that the groups copied DSS, Police, Governor Fintiri and other critical stakeholders for notification purpose.
