Healthcare providers tasked on prompt actions for patients

Dr. Abubakar Tafida emphasised on the need to improve citizens confidence in the health insurance system.

Tafida gave the charge, while speaking at a 2day capacity building workshop on the goals of FHIS and Health reportage.

According to him, the leadership is primarily a necessity to achieve the pillars of health care financing by taking into account strategies that will increase enrollment into the FCT health insurance scheme.

He further explained that the channels needed to take the message of health insurance to residents of Abuja should be prioritise so as to meet the objectives of the Universal Health Coverage and reduce out of pocket expenditure, which has been a major constraint for those living in under-served communities of Abuja.

Tafida said the FCT Administration will continue to ensure resource management for improve living standards.
