P R T Job humbles Iweanya in 2023 Director’s Table Tennis championship in Abuja

An officer from department of the (PTMS) David Job beat Mr. Tony Iweanya of the department of (Admin) at the ongoing Director’s Table Tennis Championship at Directorate of Road Traffic Service headquarters in Abuja to set the ball rolling for others competitors.

Despite the defeat, the love of the game was not departed from them rather beauty of the game was obviously observed when Mr. Tony was congratulating Mr. David job in the opening games encounter with a scores of 11-9, 117, 9-11,11-9.

The Annual Table Tennis Championship was declared open by Director R1, Dr Abdullatif Bello with warning to all participants to adhered strictly to the rules and regulations of the championship.

The annual Championship which was put together by the DRTS to strengthen it officers physically and mentally for the huge task before them witness various officers celebrating colleague’s sportsmanship and control of the ball.

“We are happy with what we saw today, Many think we can’t play games, all what we do is vehicle inspection, it far from that.

“We know how to play games likes Table Tennis even football, this is just the bringing, we have players that can do us or the nation proud, watch officers in action, we have them here,” he explained.

The ground finale of the 2023 Table Tennis Championship concede with Director R1, Dr Abdullatif Bello’s one year in office with a high expectations and unprecedented event.
