Alia’s victory ushers new dawn For Benue -Akume

Minister for Special and Intergovernmental Affairs Sen. George Akume has stressed that the administration of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia will usher a new dawn of development for Benue State.

Sen. Akume said this on Monday while speaking with Journalists in his residence in Makurdi, after the declaration of Fr. Alia as Governor-elect of Benue State by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC maintaining that the State will experience a dawn of prosperity.

He averred that the new Governor has an elaborate plan for the people of Benue State, adding that as an indigene, he is aware of the problems and difficulties that have confronted the people particularly in the deficiencies in the provision of essential amenities, the issue of health care services and educational decay asnwell as so many other issues that are begging for solutions.
