Since its foundation in 1978, Bluewater has built a technological lead specialising in design, development, lease and operation of Floating Production and Energy Systems, and has become a leading provider of innovative Single Point Mooring Systems.

FPSO fleet Bluewater Energy Services has designed, owned and operated ten FPSOs, of which three have been retired and two have been sold back to the energy companies. Presently Bluewater owns and operates its FPSOs for its clients through a leasing construction. The vessels are designed to high specification and to operate in the harshest environmental conditions, under the most stringent regulatory regimes.

SPM systems Bluewater has developed some of the most innovative Single Point Mooring (SPM) systems in service from Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) Buoys, to Turret Mooring and Tower Systems featuring multiple risers. Each system has its own characteristics and fields of application.

Advanced solutions. Recently we developed the GustoMSC NG-20000X self-propelled wind installation jack-up design with integrated jacking system, known as the Cadeler X-Class. With expanded carrying capacity installation speed will be accelerated, thereby improving economics while reducing the total carbon footprint of the installation process. With advanced solutions like the X-Class, GustoMSC supports its clients to be able to meet the future demand of the wind installation industry. In 2022 Velesto Drilling will install two Chela Twins cranes on NAGA-6, a GustoMSC CJ46 drilling jack-up design. GustoMSC Chela series is designed to improve safe handling underneath the cantilever and reduce total time spent on wells. This proven technology represents a robust opportunity to improve the return on investment (ROI) for every well drilled. With fewer rig days per well, it directly reduces the industry’s environmental footprint per well drilled while addressing the call for cost reduction from operators.

An optimization module can suggest efficient model changes for passing industry standards requirements. It allows taking the best design decision for the structure by calculating different combinations of design input. Governing loads tool extracts the critical loads out of a large group of load combinations. Automatic report generation reduces time expenses allowing to preview and print the report in Report Designer or export it to Word, PowerPoint, or PDF files.
